On July 23, at the Huacheng Community Mental Disorder Community Rehabilitation Point in Hutubi Town, the staff was leading patients and their families to play games, watch performances, and talk heart-to-heart to help them release bad emotions and degrade psychological pressure.
In May this year, the Civil Affairs Bureau of Hutubi County sought funds for the autonomous region's "Jingkang Integration Action" project, and under the guidance of Xinjiang Jingning Hospital, built a community mental disorder rehabilitation service point in Huacheng Community. The service points are operated by the Hutubi County Huimin Social Work Service Center through government procurement of services, providing training and guidance services for patients with mental disorders in the county.
Xu Jian, director of the Social Assistance Office of the Hutubi County Civil Affairs Bureau, said: "Establish a professional rehabilitation system, provide personalized rehabilitation programs, and enhance patients' ability to take care of themselves and adapt to society. At the same time, we should strengthen the popularization of rehabilitation knowledge, reduce social prejudice, and create an inclusive and supportive environment. Our goal is to make every patient feel cared for and helped, reintegrated into society, and share a better life. ”
In the interview, the reporter saw that the service point has a rehabilitation training room, a psychological counseling room, etc., and is equipped with medical staff and social workers to help provide patients with rehabilitation guidance, psychological counseling, life skills training, social and recreational training, family psychological support and other services. At the same time, according to the actual needs of patients and their families, the service point also carries out a series of service activities such as community integration, volunteer and business training, etc., to build a bridge from medical treatment to social integration for patients with mental disorders in the county.
