World Hepatitis Day | Eliminate hepatitis and act aggressively

Why are college students and migrant workers at high risk?

First: Because college students are generally between the ages of 18 and 25, college crowds gather, living environment has a wide range of contacts, and there are many social activities, once unsafe sex, tattoos, eyebrow shaping, etc., the risk of contracting viral hepatitis is very high.

Second, the age of viral hepatitis infection in the migrant worker group is concentrated in the 30-60 years old stage, and these groups have low education, high mobility, poor self-protection awareness, and the probability of infection with hepatitis virus is relatively increased. College students are the backbone of social development and the successors of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, while migrant workers are the main force in urban construction, the pillars of their families, and the disadvantaged groups. Schools, employers, and medical institutions should actively guide them to actively screen for viral hepatitis. Experts now point out that "all adults should be screened for hepatitis B at least once in their lifetime" without involving school enrollment, nursery school, or employment. Now that we are in the summer vacation leisure time, college students should take the initiative to go to medical and health institutions to screen for hepatitis B and other viral hepatitis, so as to achieve early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment. That's why screening is important and significant.

Is hepatitis B contagious? What are the key tests?

First, quantitative detection of hepatitis B virus DNA. This is a very common test in the diagnosis and treatment of hepatitis B, it objectively and accurately reflects the activity of hepatitis B virus, the higher the load, the stronger the infectiousness, less than 3 power is low load, 3-5 power is medium load, 5 power and above is high load.

Second, E antigen positive. In the absence of the ability to test the hepatitis B viral load, usually, the patient has the E antigen in the five items of hepatitis B, and if this item is positive, it means that the virus is replicating actively and is highly infectious; E-antigen negative is often indicative of decreased viral replication.

Does anyone in my family have hepatitis B or C and need to share meals?

In terms of the mechanism of infection, it will spread, and from the actual situation, the probability of transmission is extremely small, which requires many clever contracts to occur.

First, people with hepatitis B have a tear in their mouth or bleeding gums, and the virus is present in their saliva.

Second, the virus in the patient's saliva happens to be left on the food or on the chopsticks.

Third, the patient's family members also have a hole in their mouth, and the virus enters through the hole. Hepatitis B and hepatitis C can only be transmitted by chance if the above multiple accidents are met.

Therefore, there is no need to divide meals, but the disinfection of dishes and chopsticks advocated by the state and the use of public chopsticks and spoons are civilized, healthy, simple and effective health and disease prevention habits, and it is also a good way to cut off the transmission route. Parents can guide their children to develop a good habit of eating from an early age.

Reminder:

First: Pay attention to personal hygiene, eat a balanced diet, reduce oil, salt and sugar, avoid fatigue, stay up late, avoid bad mood, correct mentality, quit smoking and limit alcohol, exercise, avoid obesity, and enhance physical fitness. Develop good habits of healthy life, stay away from the harm of hepatitis, and do not be an inflammatory.

Second: People who have not been screened for viral hepatitis are actively screened for a better tomorrow.

Third: People who have already suffered from toxic hepatitis should actively seek medical treatment and stop the trilogy of liver cancer.

Fourth: People who do not have protective antibodies should be actively vaccinated, and the most important thing is the hepatitis B vaccine. Because the antibodies produced by the vaccine are special forces, ready to attack the hepatitis B virus at any time.

Get vaccinated, it's time for me. Vaccines are the most advantageous weapon against viral hepatitis, and it takes enough people to be vaccinated to form a broad, strong defense.
