On the morning of July 26, the Jinyun County Association for Science and Technology of Lishui City, the Jinyun County Education Bureau and Li Yangbing School (Primary School) carried out the safety education theme activity of "cherishing life and preventing drowning" at the county New Era Civilization Practice Station.
"If the water is good, you are not afraid, if there are many people, you will be fine, and if there is a situation, you can call for help, the above three points are the three major misunderstandings that can easily lead to drowning!" Teacher Yang of the rescue team showed the tragic consequences of drowning accidents to the students by playing videos and case explanations in the drowning prevention safety education link, so that everyone could deeply understand the danger of drowning.
The scene also explained in detail the "six nos and one meeting" principle of drowning prevention, that is, do not swim in the water without permission, do not swim with others without authorization, do not swim without the guidance of parents or teachers, do not swim in waters without safety facilities and rescue personnel, do not swim in unfamiliar waters, and students who are not familiar with water do not go into the water to rescue without authorization, and teach everyone to learn basic self-protection and self-rescue methods.
In addition, the members of the rescue team also demonstrated how to use rescue equipment correctly, the correct rescue method when encountering other people's drowning, and the use of Heimlich maneuver and other practical content, which deeply implanted safety awareness in the minds of the students.
