Israel air conditioning energy efficiency regulatory requirements
Israel announced a reform of the electronics import system from September 1, 2022. After the reform, for air conditioning products, importers only need to declare that the product meets the requirements of European regulations and apply for energy efficiency certification from the Israel Ministry of Energy, and no longer need to send samples to Israel for local testing. Israel hopes that the reform will save energy, reduce product prices, increase competition and product variety in the field, and bring more energy-efficient products to Israel.
