01. What is the experience of having a book wall at home?
Let me start by talking about the parts of the book wall I created (just the "filling"):
(1) Books
The main character of the book wall is the book, and my books are basically textbooks, textbooks, workbooks, extracurricular books, and so on from elementary school to high school.
I'm a little nostalgic, so these books have been kept all the time, from my grandmother's house to my mother's house, from my mother's house to my mother's house, and now from my mother's house to my own house.
In addition, there are books that are replaced after writing (reference books, writing books, etc.)
(2) Green plants
The pothos on the book wall was not bought separately, it was bought to fresh air after the house was renovated, because I have been alive, so I chose a few and put it on the book wall.
(3) Storage basket
The storage basket was specially bought on the Internet, because I wanted to use the entire book wall, but at present, I can't fill it purely by books, so I measured the size of the book grid and bought 12 storage baskets online, which not only plays a decorative role, but also can store some small things, I like it.
Therefore, the book wall I built mainly spent the money on the storage basket, 560 yuan.

When we designed the wall, we were going to install projections and electric screens, but it didn't seem to be needed now, so it felt like it was okay.
We didn't buy a TV,But the child's grandfather thought that the child wanted to watch TV,Moved one directly from his hometown and put it in the wine cabinet,Now we don't have to be busy buying projections,Because except for children,We adults really don't turn on TV,Haha。
02. Is the book wall of a small house open or closed?
Our house is a small apartment, about 70 square meters, three rooms, so that the book wall can only be arranged in the living room, and at the same time there is a plan to use it as a background decoration, so the book wall is set to be open.
It looks more comfortable and makes it easier to hold books, but it's also easy to dust and needs to be cleaned up from time to time.
The book wall in my house is not very large, it is directly at the top, the whole six horizontal and eight vertical, the bottom row directly extends out to make four drawers, and the top of the drawer can also be directly used as a stool to sit.
Because the size of each compartment on the book wall is the same, the storage basket I bought was divided into two parts, and the bottom row was filled with 8 baskets; The top row has 4 baskets, spaced one compartment apart.
So I personally prefer the open-plan ones, and I can also put greenery in between.
Regarding the matter of putting the book wall in the living room, when we went to buy furniture, people asked which direction the TV background wall was, and when they heard that we set it as the book wall, they were very surprised, and said where the coffee table would be placed at that time.
We didn't plan to use the coffee table at the beginning, the sofas were all in-line sofas, because I wanted to leave as much space as possible, and I was recently thinking about buying a small side table that could be moved, which would not take up space, and could also "move where you need to", hehe.
As my children grew up, I wanted to buy a modular bookcase, but I gave up because I didn't have a place at home.

But I think the book wall has actually "helped" me a lot, because I've been writing from home, so I naturally want to make the most of what I can use.

What should I do if I want to write with pictures? Take a picture of the book wall
What should I do if I'm not inspired to write? Take a book from the wall and read it
In addition, when I want to relax, I will organize the books on the book wall, such as changing the books in this compartment to that compartment, and then change back to it when I get tired of reading it for a while, and so on and so forth.
There are even times when I feel tired, and when I sit on the sofa and look at this wall, my heart can be calmer, which is probably the so-called emotional value, haha.
In order to write, I spent 560 blocks to build a background book wall, which appeared as my writing material and photo material, and I felt really happy to stay in my account with the text.
