The Jimo District Government attaches great importance to sludge treatment and disposal, carries out special research, decides to establish a centralized sludge disposal center, and collects technical solutions nationwide. After several rounds of expert demonstration and technical route comparison, comprehensive consideration of land use, reduction, harmlessness, atmospheric impact, social stability and other factors, it was finally decided to use the carbonization process to treat sludge in situ. With years of professional experience and innovative water technology solutions, BEWG has been recognized by customers in the Qingdao Jimo Sludge Treatment and Disposal Center project.
Through the overall analysis and systematic planning from the sludge production end to the outlet end, taking the carbon slag outlet research as the starting point, and as one of the important bases for judging whether the process is feasible, a sludge carbonization process route with a treatment scale of 300t/d (moisture content of 80%) and "deep dehydration + drying + carbonization + flue gas purification + building materials utilization" was formulated.
In order to avoid secondary pollution during transportation, the project uses in-situ treatment of sludge generated by the sewage treatment plant. However, the on-site space conditions are very limited, and the construction area of the main workshop for drying and carbonization treatment is only 1,500 square meters, which is less than one-third of the normal design level. In order to achieve the optimal disposal path, we have carried out the research on sludge characteristics, carbonization process design and development, process energy balance, drying and carbonization equipment research and development and carbon slag resource utilization, and formed five core process systems, including "sludge receiving and storage system", "sludge concentration conditioning and deep dewatering system", "sludge drying system", "sludge pyrolysis carbonization system" and "flue gas treatment system", as well as "carbon slag cooling and storage system", "compressed air and nitrogen system" and "industrial circulating cooling water system" The complete sludge carbonization process technology of the three auxiliary systems can meet the national standards for sludge disposal.
