The reporter learned that the State Administration for Market Regulation (National Standards Committee) recently revised and issued the national standards of "General Technical Conditions for Bathroom Furniture" and "General Technical Requirements for Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Products".

The "General Technical Conditions for Bathroom Furniture" will be officially implemented on January 1, 2025. The standard stipulates the comprehensive performance of bathroom furniture products, and clarifies the product classification, basic requirements, safety requirements, and installation requirements of bathroom furniture.

The national standard of "General Technical Requirements for Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Products" will be officially implemented on January 1, 2025. The standard divides kitchen and bathroom hardware products into water supply, drainage and other categories, and stipulates the general basic performance requirements of products including surface properties, electrical properties, harmful substance precipitation control, etc., and the detailed characteristics and functional requirements for various products, as well as the requirements for aging.
