In the scorching summer, some illegal open-air barbecues appear in the streets and alleys of residential areas, and the fumes, noise and environmental problems generated by these open-air barbecues not only bring trouble to the daily life of citizens, but also affect the appearance and air quality of the city. In order to further do a good job in the prevention and control of air pollution and maintain the order of the city's appearance and environment, in the past few days, the Lishan District Urban Management and Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau has organized all law enforcement personnel to carry out special rectification actions for open-air barbecue to improve the city's appearance and environment at night in summer.
Starting from the evening of July 20, the law enforcement officers of the Lishan District Urban Management Bureau were all on duty to rectify the open-air barbecue vendors along the main and secondary roads such as Garden Avenue, Xinhua Road, Anqian Road, and Production Street. Law enforcement officers patiently persuaded the mobile open-air barbecue vendors who occupied the road and guided them to take the initiative to rectify the situation; For vendors who refuse to make rectifications, measures such as temporary seizure of business tools are to be taken in accordance with the law to ensure that the clean-up and rectification actions are effective.
Wang Bai, deputy head of the Lishan District Urban Management Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Team, said: "In this operation, we also carried out regular inspections of barbecue shops and vendors in key areas such as Shengou Temple and Taiping Environmental Protection Substation, and found that problems such as direct exhaust of oil fumes, unused environmentally friendly stoves, oil fume purification devices, and open-air operation of barbecue stalls were supervised and implemented on the spot. At present, the open-air barbecue in these areas has been improved, the roads have been restored to clean and tidy, and the surrounding residents have recognized the enforcement action.
