△Mardi Mercredi's first flagship store in Japan

Green forests

Mardi Mercredi is a niche brand from Korea that is highly sought after by celebrities. The first flagship store recently opened in Tokyo, Japan, and the project took nine months from design to construction.

The two-storey store was designed to create different visual and accessibility solutions, using two completely different design strategies.

The design of the second floor is a good example of Creative Studio Unravel's design concept: the power of vision. The floor, ceiling and walls are all made of dyed wood panels, creating a strong sense of being in nature, and also creating a different "forest" landscape, through the panoramic floor-to-ceiling glass, which can well attract passing tourists.

The "natural landscape" of indoor green can also create a visual connection with the trees outside, thus blurring the boundary between architecture and the outdoors.

Movable display installations

The design of the first floor emphasizes authenticity, flexibility and freedom, and the display shelves have the flexibility and fluidity of movement, while meeting the autonomy of change at any time. The "industrialized" assembly mode presents the authenticity and accessibility of the design, and at the same time does not lose the artistry, implanting the brand's genetic friendliness into the entire design.

It's "cool"

To date, Creative Studio Unravel has designed 10 unique Mardi Mercredi stores, each with its own identity. They have always believed in providing customers with a unique shopping experience, and in addition to that, the most important design theme of this store is "cool".

Drawing inspiration from Korea's classic "courtyard party," the designer integrates art beyond music, performances, exhibitions, and fashion to create a breathtakingly immersive experience.

The whole shopping experience process is integrated and adjusted through the fun of different spaces, and the drum attracts customers to continue to explore inward. With this design, Mardi Mercredi once again proves its worth and unique temperament by blending brightness and authenticity in a multiculturally driven way.

BEAUTY OF JOSEON

Brand concept

BEAUTY OF JOSEON is a Korea skincare brand that "explores the beauty of North Korea and is 100% committed to creating clean and effective skincare products using traditional Korean medicine in Korea." ”

The design revolves around "beauty", with a simple, elegant, fresh and refined temperament that shows the tonality of a brand, with light blue marble display shelves and clean white, creating an extraordinary quality of "spotless".

A fun magic box

There are thousands of facets to design, and the fun is especially popular, but it is also the most difficult, if you don't have an interesting soul, you can't make an interesting design.

The store is very small, with only 100 square meters of interior space, and it is difficult to shape its richness through the division of space. The designer had an idea and gave the artistic installation to the display design, such as clothes rails that can be shaken, wooden shelves that can drift at will, like talking works of art.

Cave exploration

The interior space, which is only 55 square meters, enters through a rustic and elegant entrance, where a quiet passage and staircase guide customers to explore downwards, and the seamless stainless steel plates create a strong contrast with the simple and elegant bricks, as if telling the secrets of different connotations and arousing the curiosity of customers.

The simple interior design shows the authenticity of the brand, and the rows of ceiling lamps seem to be "cheap" industrial style, but they have become a rare installation art in the space.

Make details a readable "art"

As Mardi Mercredi's most important design partner, Creative Studio Unravel's exceptional design allows each store to present a different artistic tone.

The design uses marble with a large area of natural patterns as the backdrop for the display, which not only recreates the route of the store, but also creates an elegant display of the museum.

ANDERSSON BELL GYEONGBOKGUNG STORE

Creative Studio Unravel's flagship store in Seoul for Korea fashion brand Andersson Bell is adjacent to a garden-style high-end private residence, with a retail area of about 120 square meters.

To shop, please start with an art exhibition

The designer tells the story of the brand in the form of a "garden tour". The store is divided into several display spaces of different sizes, each with its own unique art display and aesthetic that does not conflict with each other, and the space facing the street, with huge stained glass installations, reminds us of the unique artistry of the Italy brand Glas Italia.

Affection for space with art

INSILENCE ( IN SILENCE) is a Seoul-based fashion brand launched in 2013. Advocating "blending into the mood of the times", the brand hopes that each collection can define itself.

Simple and quiet design, it is easier to provoke people's emotions, the designer adopts the technique of art to place the mood of the space, a large area of white light film for the sky, the quiet wall and the print set off each other, and the ladder device at the entrance is more ingenious, becoming an eye-catching design highlight.

MANOMOS IS AN INSPIRING BRAND THAT AIMS FOR MORE THAN JUST EYEWEAR. Classic, modern and fashionable are the key words of the brand. In addition to MANOMOS, the MANOMOS company has launched another sub-brand, ITZMO, each with its own unique style and its sensual side.

The simple design of the store, the curved stainless steel installation forms a dialogue with the space, and at the same time invisibly integrates the product, making the product the center, telling an extraordinary story to the customer, which is extremely ingenious.
