Abstract:In view of the complex laying and burial of submarine pipelines and cables, and the difficulty of positioning and depth detection of small buried pipelines and cables, this paper introduces the advantages of linear frequency modulation sonar and beam angle adjustment technology in submarine pipeline and cable detection, combined with the application cases of EdgeTech3400 OTS shallow formation profiler in the detection of small diameter cables in offshore wind farms and the detection of buried gas pipelines in coastal waterways, and analyzes the influencing factors and optimization measures of pipeline and cable detection in view of the technical difficulties of shallow formation profiler in the detection and identification of submarine buried deep pipelines and cablesIt is of positive significance for the safety management of waterway navigation, the construction of port and shipping engineering projects, and the construction and operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms.
