In the vast river of history, there is such a wise man,
He uses his dreams as his horse, through the hustle and bustle of the world,
Talking to the fish on the beam, laughing and talking about life and death on the shore of the autumn water,
He is Zhuangzi, a philosopher who is transcendent and perceptive.
In Zhuangzi's world, everything has its own way, and the cycle of life and death is the principle of nature.
And if people can comprehend this impermanence, they can fade away from the flashiness, stop being ostentatious, and return to inner peace and freedom.
Dream back to the getaway
"There is a fish in the North Underworld, and its name is Kun. The Kun is so big that I don't know how many thousands of miles it is; Turned into a bird, its name is Peng. Peng's back, I don't know how many thousands of miles it is; Flying in anger, its wings are like clouds hanging from the sky. ”
This is the beginning of "Getaway",
Zhuangzi uses the change of Kunpeng to allegorize the vastness and freedom of life.
The reason why Kunpeng can soar for nine days without being restrained,
It is because it transcends the worldly horizon and understands the vastness of heaven and earth and its own insignificance.
As Zhuangzi said: "To man without self, God without merit, saint without name." ”
A true wise man can only be free in the world if he forgets himself, does not seek utilitarianism, and does not seek fame.
"Between the world and the earth, if the white horse passes through the gap, it will be all of a sudden."
Zhuangzi has a deep insight into the impermanence of life.
In his view, life is like morning dew, short and precious,
Any external fame and fortune seems so insignificant in the torrent of time.
The ancients said: "The world is like a new chess game, and life is like a dream that is hard to find." ”
The world is unpredictable, today's prosperity may be in vain tomorrow,
Only inner peace and detachment are eternal pursuits.
Zhuangzi expounded the principle that all things are equal and life and death depend on each other with the "Theory of All Things": "Fang is born and dies, and Fang dies and is born; Only one can not, only one can not. ”
The cycle of life and death is a natural law, and there is no need to be overly sad and joyful.
When we understand the impermanence of life, we will cherish every moment.
No longer regret the past, do not worry about the future,
Rather, it is to feel every beauty of life with a peaceful mind.
Teach without words, rule by doing
"My life has an end, and there is no end to knowledge. With an end, there is no end, and it is gone! ”
Zhuangzi reminds us that knowledge is endless, but life is limited, and if we blindly pursue knowledge, we will be burdened by it.
He advocated "teaching without words", that is, through teaching by example rather than by words, allowing people to understand the truth in the experience of nature.
As Lao Tzu said: "The good is like water, the water is good for all things without fighting, and it is evil for everyone, so it is better than the Tao." ”
The softness of water can overcome rigidity; The Tao is invisible, but it can accomplish all things.
The "rule by inaction" advocated by Zhuangzi is to achieve the highest level of governance on the basis of conforming to the laws of nature.
In interpersonal communication, Zhuangzi also advocated that "it is better to forget each other in the rivers and lakes".
When the environment is bad, two fish foam at each other to wet each other.
But it is better to swim in the vast rivers and lakes and enjoy themselves.
This is not only a deep understanding of friendship, but also a yearning for freedom and independence in life.
At the beginning of the mind, it is detached from the hustle and bustle
"There is no joy in the most joyful, and there is no honor in the most honored."
Zhuangzi believes that true happiness does not lie in external enjoyment, but in inner peace and contentment.
He advocated "fasting" and "sitting and forgetting",
That is, through the purification and transcendence of the soul, we can achieve the realm of breathing with heaven and earth and sharing the fate with all things.
In "The Great Master", Zhuangzi borrowed the mouth of Nanguo Ziqi,
It depicts this state of detachment and forgetfulness:
"I have lost me today, what do you know?"
The "loss of self" here is not the loss of self, but
It is to transcend oneself and achieve a state of selflessness, to become one with all things in the universe.
"Alone with the spirit of heaven and earth, not with all things, not condemning right and wrong, with the world."
With an independent and unleaning spirit, Zhuangzi dialogues with heaven and earth, resonates with all things, but is not burdened by the world.
He taught us to keep a clear head in a troubled world,
Don't be confused by fame and fortune, don't be disturbed by external things, and face the ups and downs of life with a normal heart.
Fourth, the beauty of the allegory, the depth of the philosophy
Zhuangzi's thoughts are often contained in vivid and interesting allegories.
In "Ku Ding Solving the Cow", Ku Ding uses his miraculous skills to solve the cow,
It shows the philosophy of "according to the principles of heaven, because it is certain", that is, to conform to the laws of nature, to be able to play with ease;
"Zhuang Zhou's Dream of Butterflies" explores the boundary between reality and illusion through the interweaving of dreams and reality, which is thought-provoking.
These fables are not only beautifully written, but also have far-reaching meanings,
It also made Zhuangzi's philosophical thoughts deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and became a classic praised by later generations.
Return to tranquility, no more publicity
"And if the accumulation of water is not thick, then it is not able to carry the boat."
Zhuangzi uses water as a metaphor for people, warning us that only when the heart is deep enough can we carry the storms and burdens of life.
When you and I can finally comprehend the wisdom of Zhuangzi and understand that everything in the world is impermanent,
will no longer show off for temporary gains and losses, and no longer lose oneself in the judgment of the outside world.
In Zhuangzi's world, the true wise are those who can "be good to themselves" and "help the world".
They know that the power of the individual is small,
But if you can conform to nature and have great love,
It can bloom with infinite light in a limited life.
They do not seek fame and fortune, they do not covet power,
With a normal heart, smile at the world and watch the changes in the world.
"The husband carries me in shape, labors me to live, I grow old, and I die to death. Therefore those who are good to me live, so good to me to die. ”
With an open-minded attitude, Zhuangzi looks at the entire process of life, from birth to death, which is a gift from nature.
He taught us to cherish every moment, to live our true selves, without fear of impermanence.
In order to harvest inner peace and freedom in the journey of life.
Eventually, when we learn to let go, learn to let go,
You can find a piece of your own spiritual pure land in the complex world.
There, there is no noise, no fighting,
Only the breeze and the moon, the birds and the flowers,
and the wisdom and calmness of detaching from things and dealing with the world calmly.
Zhuangzi, the wise man who traveled through time and space,
With the light of his thoughts, he illuminated countless confused hearts.
Let us learn to find the way in impermanence under his guidance,
Find tranquility in the hustle and bustle, no longer publicity, no longer impetuous,
With a peaceful and deep heart, embrace this world that does not seem simple.
