When discussing the patient's physical condition, a complex physical phenomenon does appear, showing signs of "fire", such as frequent mouth ulcers, poor breath, dry eyes, bitter and thirsty mouth, and warm palms, which are often attributed to yin deficiency and fire.
However, on the other hand, this patient also experienced profuse sweating, frequent urination, poor and slippery semen at night, and cold feet, which in turn tended to be yang deficiency.
In the definition of such diseases in traditional Chinese medicine, there are indeed multiple sounds of yang deficiency, yin deficiency and even yin and yang deficiency.
This kind of condition, in the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, is often diagnosed as a complex syndrome of "yin and yang deficiency with heat at the top and cold at the bottom". Simply replenishing yang qi or nourishing yin fluid often makes it difficult to solve the problem comprehensively, but may aggravate the condition due to making up for deviations. Therefore, balancing yin and yang, reconciling cold and heat becomes the key to treatment.

Through careful pulse diagnosis and tongue diagnosis, it was found that the heart and lung pulse were floating and weak, indicating that the upper focus was hot and the righteous qi was insufficient. The lower coke kidney vein is weak and difficult to find, reflecting the essence of the lower coke deficiency and coldness.
On the tongue, the tip and middle of the tongue are reddish, indicating that the upper part is hot, while the base of the tongue and the bottom of the tongue coating are white and yellowish, which further confirms the diagnosis of upper heat and lower cold.
In view of this complex syndrome, I tend to adopt a comprehensive conditioning strategy, especially focusing on yin and yang supplementation and accurately grasping the strength of supplementation.

In addition, keel, oysters and other important medicines for the latent sun are added to restrain the floating false fire; Sweet seed and golden cherry seed enhance the power of solidity; Yellow essence and Polygonum multiflorum further strengthen the effect of filling essence and replenishing the marrow.
