On July 6, the county's symposium on activating the economic development of the town was held. Wang Lijun, secretary of the county party committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, Yu Guangwei, deputy secretary of the county party committee and county magistrate, presided over the meeting, Sun Jingbo, director of the Standing Committee of the county people's Congress, Fu Haifeng, chairman of the county CPPCC, and Wang Fei, deputy secretary of the county party committee, attended the meeting.

Before the meeting, Wang Lijun led a team to two cities and three counties in Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province for inspection and study.

At the meeting, the secretaries of the party (work) committees of each township (street, new village) reported their thoughts and plans to activate the township economy in combination with the inspection, and Yu Guangwei commented on the ideas of the township (street, new village) to develop the township economy.

Wang Lijun pointed out that townships and towns are the basic units of economic development, which are connected to cities at one end and rural areas at the other, and play an important role in undertaking industrial transfer, promoting new-type urbanization, and absorbing surplus labor in rural areas, which is of great significance. All departments at all levels should deeply study the advanced experience of Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and transform the results of the investigation and learning into path measures to promote the high-quality development of the town's economy.

Wang Lijun pointed out that it is necessary to fully realize that there are shortcomings and deficiencies in the overall strength of the county's township economic development, such as "strong towns are prominent, weak towns are the majority", industrial development is "not high-level, characteristics are not strong", township talents are "insufficient in total, more loss", and development factors are "more demand and insufficient guarantees". Choose the right direction, find the right path, solve the development dilemma, and create favorable conditions for the economic development of the town.

Wang Lijun stressed that the work of activating the town economy involves a wide range of work and a large workload, and all departments at all levels should strengthen leadership, emancipate the mind, dry the achievements, establish guidance, and keep the bottom line, and promote the implementation of various deployments to the letter, so as to promote the economic and social development with a major breakthrough in the town economy.
