Create a caprice
The most important thing for a good work is the expression of the heart, the expression of emotions and the life and soul of the work, and only by moving yourself can you move the viewer and shock the heart!
For example, when I was creating "The Great Wall", I seemed to see the scenes of the battles of the past dynasties, and the countless bones buried within the city walls, whether they were defenders or siegers, they all sought their own happy homes. When I created "Signs of Childhood", I realized the true meaning of life and cultural inheritance from generation to generation. Ice and snow are covered with hope and the future, and you can still feel warm in the cold winter. I use my own life perception to create a crystal clear world, hoping to bring people a quiet and clear state of mind, but also to pursue the simplicity and purity of the soul that everyone yearns for. All the pictures do not add any figures, birds and animals, aiming not to destroy the original emptiness, so that the viewer can feel peace and warmth, and appreciate the beauty of art. When I was creating "Sky Outpost", I recalled the two climbs to the Khunjerab post on the Pamir Plateau, which is the highest border post in China, the natural environment is very harsh, defined by biologists as a forbidden area for life, and the border guards stationed here guard every inch of our land with their lives, which is an idol worthy of our admiration, and my original intention in creating this work is also to pay tribute to our border heroes. Whenever I stand in front of this painting, it is like returning to the Pamir Plateau, I am immersed in the creation, countless times until the early hours of the morning, the immersive feeling, the heart of the completion of this work, this year the work was selected for the 14th National Art Exhibition, it is also reasonable.
Most of my works are based on ice and snow as the subject matter, in the inheritance and promotion of the traditional Chinese brush and ink essence and blank techniques, the combination of realism and freehand, although it is based on the ancient village old houses, wasteland and snow, castle ruins, dead trees and grass as the creative elements, but in the concept of conception has given them new life and soul, showing that "the snow melts on the ridge tree bones, among the weeds and gravel ice, it seems to be cold and cold, but there is green to welcome the spring breeze", so that the cold winter is full of life breath and interest, It tries to express the calm and tragic beauty and the indomitable spirit of the times.
Every time I face the white ice and snow, my heart is baptized. Painting is born from the heart, no matter what material is used, ink, paper, inkstone, or traditional painting techniques, it will ultimately be attributed to the mood and appeal that your work brings to the viewer. All forms of expression and techniques are the direction of artistic light, but the real way is to look back sincerely in the wilderness, in the snow, in the past, and in countless memories.
In this retrospective, I saw my own nostalgia. I tried to freeze this nostalgia on rice paper, telling my deep affection for the endless years. I hope that my work will be a simple prose, a sincere poem, and I will try to integrate more things into my pen and ink, such as literature, such as music, so that my outpouring is richer, deeper, and more powerful. Hometown, snowfield, Great Wall, ...... years It is an inexhaustible source of my creation, and it is also my creative motivation. I would like to use my brush to pay tribute to my hometown, to the Great Wall, to the heavenly whistle and the years.
