In a word, he was left behind

In 2012, when Yu Zhenhua was sketching in the mountains, he was surrounded by a group of curious children. He couldn't help but ask, "Do you like to draw?" The children replied in unison, "Yes, but I won't!" At this moment, Yu Zhenhua decided to stay in Lianshan Mountain and start his art teaching journey.

Subsequently, he launched the activity of "Great Love for Left-behind Children in Mountainous Areas · Caring for Left-behind Children in Mountainous Areas", and cooperated with local primary schools to carry out art teaching services. Although life was once poor and the studio was also facing the dilemma of closure, Yu Zhenhua never gave up teaching art.

He not only provided free art education for children, but also bought painting materials for schools at his own expense, and even used his savings to buy school supplies many times. The arrival of Yu Zhenhua brought vitality and vitality to the originally quiet mountain village school, and the laughter of the children and the rustle of the brushes on the paper were intertwined into a beautiful music.

These works have not only won many awards, but have also been praised by professional art teachers.

His public welfare actions have also attracted more people with lofty ideals, successfully mobilized a group of young artists to join the volunteer team, and provided more teachers for schools in mountainous areas. Under the leadership of Yu Zhenhua, "Yu Zhenhua Art Studio" was established in Lianshan Sanshui Primary School, building a platform for children to show themselves, exchange and learn, so that more children can benefit from the edification of art education.

A pen paints hope

In addition to paying attention to the art education of children in mountainous areas, Yu Zhenhua also set his sights on the special group of autistic children. He has donated paintings to local service organizations for charity sales many times, and personally went to special education schools to carry out long-term public welfare teaching for students with hearing disabilities. Through this unique approach to art education, he has opened a window to the outside world for children with autism.

In 2023 and 2024, Yu Zhenhua will hold an art exhibition for caring for children with autism for two consecutive years. These paintings were completed by young artists under the guidance of autistic children, which not only showed the children's creativity and imagination, but also conveyed the power of love and hope.
