At the launching ceremony, the person in charge of the Xinxin Social Work Service Center of Panyu District introduced the basic situation of the "Better Life, Care for Children in Distress with 'Heart' East-West Collaboration Mental Health Service Project" and the 4th Public Welfare Venture Capital Assistance Project of Panyu District Women's Federation "Phoenix Nirvana" Psychological Empowerment Project for Women in Distress. It is understood that the "Better Life, Care with 'Heart'" East-West Collaborative Mental Health Service Project for Children in Distress has won the 2024 Central Financial Support Social Organization Demonstration Project, which is the only project selected in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province and the eastern region, and the only East-West collaboration project this year. The project mainly provides preventive, remedial and developmental mental health services for children in distress in Hezhang County and Weining Autonomous County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, which are key counties for rural revitalization, and establishes a multi-party collaborative mental health service system. The project implementer, Panyu District Xinxin Social Work Service Center, will visit 16 rural schools in Hezhang and Weining to carry out experiential mental health education courses; Went to the welfare homes in the two places to carry out group classes for children in difficulty; In addition, we provide one-on-one psychological counseling services for children and families who are in emotional or psychological difficulties to help solve mental health problems such as parent-child communication and emotional stress.
The "Phoenix Nirvana" Psychological Empowerment Project for Women in Distress is a special public welfare venture capital assistance project for the 4th "Women Give Love" mutual aid activities of the Panyu District Women's Federation, and is also implemented by the Panyu District Xinxin Social Work Service Center. The project adheres to the social psychological service mechanism of "community-oriented, family-oriented, and prevention-oriented", covering all towns and streets in Panyu, based on the community and family, integrating multiple resources, and providing timely, high-quality and effective psychological services for women in need.
