From being abused by an adopted family, to a failed marriage, to defecting to North Korea, the first half of Dresnock's life was filled with dramatic turns.

Defection to North Korea
Born in the United States in 1941, Dressnock was ruthlessly abandoned and orphaned before he could feel the warmth of his parents.

So, one afternoon in August 1962, Dresno took advantage of the soldiers' lunch time to rush to the unknown border without hesitation.
But on both sides of the 38th parallel, there are mines densely covered. At this time, Dressnok's heart was beating faster, and cold sweat soaked his clothes. In order to survive, he could only keep running, running desperately, leaving his fears and insecurities behind.
Luckily, he managed to reach the North Korean side in the end. North Korean soldiers initially regarded him as a spy, and after some torture, they realized that he was just an ordinary American soldier.
