Pagani recently released official images of the highly anticipated Huayra Epitome model. The new car was meticulously built by the Grandi Complicazioni bespoke department, took ten months to complete, and only one was produced. It is worth mentioning that the Huayra Epitome is the first model in the range to be equipped with a manual transmission. According to the plan, the car will be unveiled to the public for the first time at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2024.
The exterior design of the Huayra Epitome inherits the design concept of the R version, with a unique front bumper cooling vent and L-shaped LED daytime running lights. The car's headlights maintain a double-wedge-shaped design, and the front of the car is equipped with a movable aerodynamic spoiler. In addition, the whole car is made of blue carbon fiber material with the addition of gold accents as a highlight. The side of the car retains the classic silhouette of the Huayra, with wider front and rear fenders and air vents at the front. Meanwhile, the car is equipped with seven-spoke gold wheels and high-performance Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tyres. The Epitome's suspension has also been improved, reducing dive and pitch phenomena during driving, providing better handling stability. The vehicle is also fitted with an active suspension system with "Super Soft" mode to provide additional comfort on uneven surfaces.
At the rear, the Huayra Epitome features a large, simple fixed rear spoiler with integrated brake lights in the centre. The taillights maintain the willow leaf design with a three-circle combination, and continue to use the mid-mounted quad exhaust design. The new car also introduces a newly designed rear diffuser in the same colour as the body, showing off another set of exhaust ducts.
Inside, the Huayra Epitome retains Pagani's typical sci-fi and artistic design, with an aluminium silver instrument cluster paired with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a multimedia display embedded in the center console. The combination of brown leather fabric and black carbon fiber trim creates a noble visual delight.
What's special is that the Epitome is powered by a seven-speed manual transmission from Xtrac, which Pagani says uses the latest three-plate clutch for better torque transmission. It is also equipped with an electronically controlled differential and a tripod system based on racing technology, which ensures a more direct engine response.
In terms of power, the Huayra Epitome is equipped with a 6.0T twin-turbo V12 engine with a maximum power of 635 kW (864 hp) and a maximum torque of 1,100 Nm. It is mated to a seven-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive system from the Xtrac for a top speed of 350 km/h.
