On the afternoon of July 3, 2024, the English class of the University for the Elderly held the "Celebration of July 1st Art Concert" in the multi-purpose hall of the school.
We are gathered here to celebrate the 103rd birthday of the Communist Party of China. We know that we do not live in an era of peace, but in a country of peace. After we learned English in the English class and learned more about the world, we loved our motherland and our great Communist Party of China even more. The teachers and students of the English class held a theatrical performance here to celebrate July 1st to express our infinite love for the party.
The first program is a group program: English song, sign language dance "I love Beijing Tiananmen", this is a song we will sing when we are in primary school, today we sing in English, dance in sign language, thank you very much Teacher Fan for her patience and enthusiasm for every student.
The second is "Practicing the Original Mission" recited by Liu Liping and Ma Jianrong, the two old comrades are very serious and sonorous and powerful.
The third program sitcom: Shao Jizhong and Xie Yafeng's performance of "Airport Pick-up", Du Jiangping and Li Yonghua's performance of "On the Bus", tested the use of English conversations in our usual classrooms in real life. The eighth is that Mr. Fan led everyone to sing and dance "Five Hundred Miles", which is an English song learned last year, and there is no rehearsal this year, only relying on tacit understanding, and the performance effect is not bad.
The ninth was the poetry recitation "Red July" organized by Jiang Shaoxia, in which Li Chunying, Sun Xiaoxia, and Liu Yuling participated in the recitation, and the audience and the audience were moved by their loud poems
The tenth is Ma Jianrong's solo "Encounter", she is a new student this year, everyone likes her very much, and coming to study in the English class is our beautiful "encounter".
