overview
The center is integrated with the Baylor campus, the San Marco community. The design of the centre is timeless, with a statement and a timeless twist.
The building houses radiology and infusion therapy, imaging, clinical, conference and educational spaces, as well as an outdoor café. A central courtyard with natural light is located to create a tranquil and recuperating environment for patients and their families.
At a cost of more than $150 million, the program dramatically expands the existing field of integrated cancer care, bringing benefits and hope to patients with cutting-edge treatment technologies.
The building is rich in colour and the elegant curves of the structure symbolize the St. Johns River, bringing a splash of color to the patients being treated.
A variety of delicate items and artworks are displayed in the interior, creating a calming and relaxing environment for patients, visitors and medical staff. Floor and shell spaces can be used flexibly for new technology or other uses.
