1. Liu Zhun, Emperor Shun of the Southern Song Dynasty

Liu Zhun was the last emperor of the Liu Song Dynasty and the third son of Emperor Liu Yu of the Song Ming Dynasty (one said to be the son of Liu Xiufan, King of Guiyang). On July 8, the fifth year of Yuan Hui (477), Liu Zhun became the emperor under the support of Xiao Daocheng. Liu Zhun was nominally the emperor, but the power was in the hands of Xiao Daocheng. In other words, Xiao Daocheng was just waiting for an opportunity to replace the Southern Song Dynasty. In the third year of Shengming (479), Liu Zhun was forced to Zen in Xiao Daocheng. 2. Emperor Mo Baoyu of the Southern Dynasty

Xiao Baorong (488-502), also known as Emperor He of Qi. In the first month of 501 AD, Xiao Baorong was called Xiangguo. In March, Xiao Baorong ascended the throne in Gangneung. In December of the same year, Xiao Baojuan, the Marquis of Dongdu, was killed, and Xiao Baorong returned to the east. From March 502 to Guyu (present-day Dangtu County, Anhui), he was forced to give way to Liang. Xiao Baorong was demoted to the king of Baling, and the official was in the aunt. In April 502, Xiao Yan sent his cronie Zheng Boyu to his aunt, Xiao Baorong drank and indulged, and Zheng Boyu killed him at the age of 15.

3. Emperor Jing of Liang in the Southern Dynasty Xiao Fangzhi

Xiao Fangzhi is the last emperor of Southern Liang, the ninth son of Emperor Xiao Yi of Liang Yuan, and his mother is Concubine Xia Xian. In the fourth year of Chengsheng (555), under the strong intervention of the Northern Qi Dynasty, the Taiwei Wang monk argued and established Xiao Yuanming as the emperor and Xiao Fangzhi as the crown prince. In September of the same year, Chen Ba attacked and killed Wang Shengbian, deposed Xiao Yuanming, and established Xiao Fangzhi as the emperor, with the year name Shaotai. At that time, the major affairs of the Southern Dynasty Liang were all decided by Chen Baxian. In the second year of Taiping (557), Xiao Fangzhichan was located in Chen Baxian, and the Liang Dynasty was destroyed and reduced to the king of Jiangyin. In the second year of Yongding (558), he was killed by Chen Baxian, only 16 years old, and was called the emperor.

Fourth, Chen Shubao, the queen of the Southern Dynasty

Chen Shubao, the queen of Chen, was the son of Emperor Chen Xuan and Empress Liu Jingyan, and the last emperor of the Chen Dynasty during the Northern and Southern Dynasties. In the third year of Chen Zhenming (the ninth year of Emperor Kaihuang of Sui, 589), the Sui army went south, Guangling fell, and soon broke through Jingkou and the capital Jiankang, and Nanchen perished. After Chen Shubao came to the Sui Dynasty, Emperor Wen of Sui repaired his mansion in Chang'an and treated him very well. In the fourth year of Renshou (604), Chen Shubao died of illness in Luoyang, at the age of 52, posthumously presented to the general, the county prince of Changcheng, nicknamed Yang, and was buried in Luoyang Mountain.

5. Yuan Xiu, the last emperor of the Northern Wei Dynasty

Yuan Xiu, Xianbei clan, the last emperor of the Northern Wei Dynasty, the grandson of Emperor Xiaowen Yuan Hong, and the third son of Yuan Huai, King Wumu of Guangping. In the second year of Zhongxing (532), Yuan Xiu ascended the throne as the emperor under the support of the general Gao Huan, and the year name was Taichang. Yuan Xiu first left Gao Yang, and then broke with Yuwentai. After offending the two powerful ministers, Yuan Xiu naturally would not have a good end. On the 15th day of the twelfth month of the third year of Yong (February 3, 535), Yuwentai poisoned Yuan Xiu, who was twenty-five years old and buried in Yunling.

Sixth, Emperor Xiaojing of the Eastern Wei Dynasty Yuan Shanjian

Yuan Shanjian is the great-grandson of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty, the son of King Yuanyan of Qinghe Wenxuan, and his mother is Hu Zhi, Princess of Qinghe. In the third year of Yongxi (534), Emperor Xiaowu Yuanxiu fled from Luoyang and went west to Chang'an. So the great prime minister Gao Huan supported Yuan Shanjian as the emperor, the year name Tianping, moved the capital to Yecheng, and was jointly assisted by the great Sima Yuan and the powerful minister Gao Huan. After Gao Huan's death, his son Gao Cheng succeeded his father as an assistant.

In the eighth year of Wuding (550), Yuan Shanjian Chan was located in Gaoyang, the king of Qi. In December of the second year of Tianbao (551), he was poisoned by Gao Yang at the age of 28, nicknamed Emperor Xiaojing, and buried in Zhangxi Mountain.

Seventh, the Western Wei Emperor Gong Tuoba Kuo

Tuoba Kuo was the last emperor of the Western Wei Dynasty (reigned 554~556), the great-grandson of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty, and the fourth son of Emperor Wen of the Western Wei Dynasty. In the twentieth year of the Great Unification (554), Tuoba Kuo was officially enthroned under the support of Taishi Yuwentai, called the first year, and Tuoba was restored. In the fourth year of Emperor Gong of the Western Wei Dynasty (557 years), he was abolished by the powerful minister Yuwen Hu, and was demoted to the Duke of Song, and was killed tragically, and Emperor Gong was killed.

8. Gao Heng, the late emperor of the Northern Qi Dynasty

Gao Heng, that is, the young lord of Qi, the son of Gao Wei and Empress Mu Huanghua, the queen of Qi, and the last emperor of the Northern Qi Dynasty. In the first year of Seungguang (577), Gao Wei gave the Zen position to Gao Heng in order to shirk the responsibility of the country, and after Gao Heng ascended the throne, he fled to Jeju with Gao Wei. After that, Gao Heng, Gao Wei and his entourage were all captured by the Northern Zhou. In the seventh year of Jiande (578), Gao Heng was executed by Emperor Wu of the Northern Zhou Dynasty Yuwen Yong in the name of attempting rebellion, and he was only seven years old.

9. Emperor Jing of the Northern Zhou Dynasty Yu Wen explained

Yuwen was the last emperor of the Northern Zhou Dynasty (reigned 1 April 579 – 4 March 581). Emperor Xuan of Zhou, the eldest son of Yu Wenyun, and his mother is Zhu Manyue, the empress of heaven. In the first year of Dading (581), Yuwen Yan was forced to take the throne of Yang Jian, the prime minister, and was demoted to the title of Duke of Jieguo. In the first year of Kaihuang (581), he was killed by Emperor Wen of Sui Emperor Yang Jian, who was only nine years old, called Emperor Jing, and was buried in Gongling.

To sum up, among the nine fallen kings of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, only Chen Shubao was lucky enough to get a good ending.
