As the official annual residency project of the 1862 Fashion Art Center's 2024 performance season, "Silent Disco", which was introduced by the original IP in the UK, broke the space constraints and upgraded to a popular fitness, social, and stress reduction medium in the city. Under the organization of SG (silent guide), participants will be assigned wireless headphones, obtain sound codes, and carry out this seemingly "silent" carnival adventure.

Silent Disco combines City Walk, the most popular way to travel, with the art of cabaret and dance. Under the guidance of SG (Silent Guide), participants will dance with a relaxed sense of relaxation to release emotions, turning every street corner into a carnival base. The hidden dungeon of the magic city will be unlocked during the dance steps, and the new 360-degree stereoscopic view of the light travel will have a surprise closer to the heart at every step. We don't have a purpose, but we immerse ourselves more than ever – to make the most of every second, to make our bodies move, and to set our hearts free.

As a popular immersive outdoor project of major international art festivals, "Silent Disco" is also an important reason for its all-age and all-personality characteristics. No matter your age, you are welcome to come and dance and swing in the streets; Regardless of whether it is Person E or Person I, the outside sound around the headphones no longer exists. In this "silent" journey, the city is no longer just a container, the streets and alleys will become carriers of emotions, and our inner voice is the theme, allowing the body and soul to move together. Motion? Unpack? Free yourself? All you need to do is join a Silent Disco!

Based on the project concept of urban humanism and commercial branding, "Silent Disco" Shanghai has developed four urban walking routes around the "new five senses" (i.e., relaxation, originality, existence, socialization and atmosphere) that young people are concerned about, while breaking the limitations of conventional performance space. Located at the confluence of the Huangpu River and Suzhou Creek, the first "micro-vacation" centennial historic district theme route is composed of 11 historic buildings and 6 new buildings, where well-known architects such as Hudak, Hongda and Li Jinpei, who were active in the twenties and thirties of the last century, have left their legendary works.
Participants will be free to move through this "old and young" area. Breathe in touch the fabric of the city, rediscover the buildings that have passed by, and let every sense be magnified...

Ticket Inspection:
The check-in time is [20 minutes before the start of the performance], and you can pick up the headphone equipment and wait for the start of the show after arriving at [Meifeng Lane, Zhong'an Bund Yuanmeifeng Lane, that is, near Zhong'an Meifeng Building and Ampere Foreign Bank] with a valid electronic order.
If there is any change in the above check-in locations or methods, the audience will be informed in advance by phone or other means.

Notes:
1. This is a marching outdoor show, there will be no seats or rest points during the whole performance, and the performers will lead the audience away from the starting point of the route after the performance starts, please be sure to arrive on time. [Late arrivals will not be admitted 10 minutes after the start of the performance.] 】
2. There is no luggage storage for this performance, and there will be no return to the starting point of the route after the performance, so it is recommended to dress lightly and avoid carrying backpacks, heavy objects, valuable digital products, etc.
3. Please use the headphones under the guidance of the staff and return them after the performance.
4. The performance will include group dancing and interaction, please refrain from physical collision with performers, other spectators, pedestrians, etc.
5. If you need to leave the venue early in the middle of the performance, please contact the staff to return the headphones, once you leave the venue, you will not be able to join the performance again.
6. Children under 1 meter will not be allowed to enter, children over 1 meter will be admitted with a ticket, and children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult audience to participate in the performance.
7. If you encounter any emergencies during the performance, please contact the staff to deal with them.
8. Please do not walk alone or leave the group during the performance, and follow the instructions of the staff to move on the performance route.
9. In case of bad weather conditions or other force majeure factors, the performance time may be adjusted.
