Born in 1969, Lei Songde studied at Imperial College London, majoring not in music, but in civil engineering. His musical leader is the famous Huang Xia, who was brought into the industry by Uncle Xia. He once formed the band Dry with Von der Len, and after the band broke up, he formed the Band On-Line with his two half-brothers, and finally disbanded.
Speaking of Lei Songde, Li Ming and Chen Huilin's fans should be familiar with him, because most of the songs he writes are sung by these two Heavenly Queens. Chen Huilin once publicly thanked Lei Songde, saying that without Lei Songde, there would be no her, because Lei Songde wrote more than two hundred songs for her to sing.
Many of Dawn's songs were also written by Ray Songde. Fans who think this way may only hear the electric dance music of dawn, but not the story behind those songs. According to Lei Songde, in order to make those songs, Dawn went to South Korea specifically for two weeks, and during the two weeks in South Korea, they went to the local dance hall to listen to Korean electronic dance music before writing those songs.
Speaking of electronic dance music, I think that Lei Songde at that time was really powerful, in the early 21st century, the Korean Wave represented by Lee Jung-hyun attacked the Chinese music scene with electronic dance music, and at that time, Lei Songde quickly wrote "Flower Universe", "Amnesia Weekend", "Listen to the Body Singing" and other electronic dance songs to fight, and these songs were not at all inferior to those works in South Korea, Lei Songde could be said to be single-handedly fighting against the surging K-pop.
