Case 1

In March 2024, the police found in their work that Douyin netizens Xu and Chu made up content as "It's really going to change the sky!" Why are foreign investors withdrawing one after another" and other false remarks about the withdrawal of foreign capital, misleading netizens and causing adverse effects. In accordance with the "Public Security Administration Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China", our bureau imposed administrative fines on Xu and Chu in accordance with the law, and criticized and educated them.

Case 2

In April 2024, a netizen posted on Weibo: "A 4.7-magnitude earthquake occurred in Shangri-La, Yunnan, how did the earthquake collapse like a magnitude 8", and distributed a video of a daytime landslide, causing netizens to leave comments one after another. After verification, the police found that the relevant content was false information, and it was fabricated by the offender Wang X to attract the attention of netizens. Our bureau gave Wang an administrative warning and punishment in accordance with the law, and ordered him to delete the relevant rumors.
