The science and technology courtyard has been in a place where no one cares, and has been working silently for more than 10 years.
The Science and Technology Academy was pioneered by Zhang Fusuo, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and professor of China Agricultural University, and his team in Quzhou County, Hebei Province in 2009, aiming to provide farmers with "zero distance, zero time difference, zero threshold, zero cost" scientific and technological services, and also provide students with a broad scientific research platform.

Jin Kemo, who is determined to run on the road of scientific research, is now deeply in love with the fields of Gusheng Village. She originally only wanted to stay for six months, but now she is planning a longer-term future for the courtyard. She laughed and said that she was "brainwashed" by her mentor Academician Zhang Fusuo.
"Go to the front line and do something useful for the country and the people." At first, Jin Kemo was puzzled and hesitant about Academician Zhang's persuasion. After some "extreme pulling", the choice settled when Jin Kemo knocked on the door of Academician Zhang, "I want to challenge myself." In 2022, Jin Kemo, an associate professor at the College of Resources and Environment at China Agricultural University, became the head of the Gusheng Village Science and Technology Academy.
Dali Gusheng Village Science and Technology Academy won the first prize in the finals of the second "Pinduoduo Cup" Science and Technology Academy Competition. "In school, it is difficult to understand the real situation in the field, and sometimes it is 'on paper'. "Everyone is working on a real production problem, and our paper is also from the labor production of the orchard, seeking breakthroughs in data monitoring and experiments." Talking about the experience in Chucheng Science and Technology Academy, Quan Tielin, a graduate student of China Agricultural University, has a shining eye, and like her brothers and sisters, she has found a sense of accomplishment in life in taking root in the front line, communicating with farmers, and explaining technology.
"The small courtyard has not only brought me scientific research benefits, but also the improvement of comprehensive ability. In this process, we also have a clearer understanding and choice of our future. Zhang Lijun, a graduate student at Southwest University, focuses on acidic soil improvement. Her Danling Orange Science and Technology Courtyard designed an acidic soil conditioner and built a set of healthy soil and a green production model for energy conservation and emission reduction in citrus orchards, which was recommended to local enterprises and farmers. The result was Ehime 38, which was of stable quality and was very popular in the market.
"At school, my life is like a laboratory and a dormitory, but in the small courtyard, I need to communicate with farmers and learn from each other.
