In order to continuously optimize Fengxian travel services, provide strong support for people's better travel, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of public transportation. In May 2024, the Fengxian District People's Suggestion Collection Office, together with Shanghai Fengxian Transportation Energy (Group) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Fengxian Bus and Public Transport Co., Ltd., launched the "Bay Express Brand Service Innovation" people's suggestion collection activity, openly soliciting targeted, innovative and actionable suggestions from the general public.
In this solicitation activity, the citizens actively put forward suggestions and suggestions for the residents around the bay area, improving the convenience service capacity, and optimizing the travel environment. In this people's suggestion theme collection activity, a total of 65 suggestions were received, mainly aimed at optimizing operation shifts, facilities and equipment, and convenient services.
In response to the opinions and suggestions collected, the District People's Suggestion Collection Office will jointly study with Jiaoneng Group and Fengxian Bus Company, and some of the replies are now published as follows:
1. Suggestions on optimizing shifts
According to the actual passenger flow of the Bay Express, we have increased the average daily frequency from 112 to 115 on Fridays. It is planned that starting in September, the departure interval of the afternoon college students' concentrated travel period will be shortened from the original 25 minutes to 15 minutes, and a certain amount of emergency transportation capacity will be reserved for timely delivery according to the actual passenger flow; When the conditions are ripe, we will open a customized bus.
2. Suggestions on facilities and equipment
Since most of the stations of the Bay Express Line are conventional bus stations, we have added 32 hemispone cameras to 32 stations along the line, which can monitor the passenger flow dynamics in real time, provide data support for the subsequent adjustment of the operation plan, and also play a certain role in supervising the safety of the platform; We will upgrade the vehicle video surveillance system; At the same time, we will also work with the district transportation center to optimize the content of the information release screen to further facilitate the travel of citizens.
3. Suggestions on convenient services
We regularly organize volunteers to go to crowded stations to answer passengers' questions and maintain the order of riding. Provide consultation services for scenic spots along the way; Carry out carside welcome demonstration activities in a timely manner to provide better convenient services.
