Wake up at 4:20 a.m. every day, practice Atang at home for 1 hour and 35 minutes, prepare the family's breakfast, and then send her daughter to school at 7:00, which is the daily morning routine of Zhuang Zhuang's mother, who has been persisting for 3 years.
On weekends or holidays, after arranging her daughter, Zhuangzhuang's mother would travel from Nanjing to Hangzhou to practice Ah Tang in Teacher Shine's classroom, sometimes for 2 days in a row, sometimes for 1 week.
This is not a blind decision, but the best choice made after experiencing Teacher Shine's course, because she likes Ah Tang very much, and she also knows that meeting a good Ah Tang teacher is really something that can be met but not wanted, and she must firmly grasp the opportunity.
A non-native soup powder
Since having a daughter, Zhuangzhuang's mother has left the workplace and returned her focus to her family. However, the physical problems that fell from working hard in the workplace before still bothered her for a long time.
She does audit work, and for the first 3-4 months of each year, she basically has to work about 17 hours a day, which causes her waist to always feel uncomfortable.
After practicing Ah Tang regularly, she did not have the same low back pain as before. Although she would experience pain or injury during the exercises, she knew in her heart that those problems were caused by the wrong way of practicing, and had nothing to do with the Ah Tang exercises themselves.
Zhuangzhuang's mother is not a native soup powder, but after participating in many improvement classes, she has changed to practice Ah Tang regularly. Looking back on those days, she felt that her mentality was not good, she would compare, and she was always struggling with why she couldn't do it.
However, the objective situation is there, and some gaps are destined to be irreparable, such as age gaps, physical conditions, etc. There are some classmates around her, who are younger than her, and the asanas can easily go deeper. Strong mothers will not be convinced, so they are reluctant to communicate with others, and even unwilling to share what they know with others.
After meeting Teacher Shine, she found that there were too many people who were better at asana than herself, and even if she hid some knowledge and didn't share it, others could get it through other channels, so there was no need to hide it at all. In addition, even if this knowledge is spoken, others may not adopt it.
When I met the teacher, my misunderstanding of Ah Tang was corrected
Talking about the understanding of Ah Tang, Zhuangzhuang's mother said that there was also a wrong cognition, but after practicing for a long time and meeting the right teacher, it will become clearer and clearer what the correct direction is.
She remembers feeling tired when she first practiced Ah Tang, and even though her teacher at the time told her that rest was important, she was not convinced. Therefore, the teacher's words are to listen to half and throw half, and the rest technique is naturally not serious enough, resulting in a lot of physical exertion.
After practicing in Ms. Shine's classroom, she will have an inexplicable trust in the teacher, because the teacher will share a lot of knowledge, not only to tell the students the results, but also to share the reasons and processes, which is naturally more convincing.
In the process of learning, Zhuang Zhuang's mother also has a more accurate understanding of the healing effect of Ah Tang. Previously, she thought that Ah Tang could heal the soul because more physical strength would be consumed during practice, so that the practitioner would not have more energy to deal with the negative situations in life, and even when the practitioner wanted to get angry in life, he did not have the strength or energy to explode, so she chose to tolerate this matter.
She believes that tolerance means knowing that something is wrong, and because you don't have the energy to deal with it, you let the mistake continue to happen, which can leave a lot of hidden dangers in the future.
And practicing Ah Tang, she found that her inner cultivation was to learn to be tolerant. Tolerance means that when you encounter something wrong, you should guide it in a step-by-step way, which may not be so direct, such as strict words, which will inevitably cause harm to others, but will actively find ways to correct the mistake and deal with things in a way that others can accept.
What impressed Zhuangzhuang's mother the most was that when she learned to educate her daughter with a tolerant attitude, their relationship became particularly harmonious.
In the past, when her daughter made a mistake, she would instinctively solve the problem in the same way as an audit, that is, directly point out where the child's mistake was, and did not dissect why the child did what he did.
Later, she discovers that her child has done something wrong, and sometimes she knows that she is wrong, but because of external incentives, she will enjoy the momentary happiness first, and ignore the possible harm caused by the wrong thing.
She feels that it is precisely because of the regular practice of Ah Tang that she realizes the things behind it, and also makes her more patient to find the reasons for her child's mistakes.
She will calm herself down, think about the reasons for the child's recent abnormality, and will also look through the child's notes, whether there is something hidden under the quilt, etc. At this point, the problems may be exposed, and these problems are not black and white, right or wrong, and may be in a transitional stage. Then, it is possible for her to find room to turn around in the transitional phase.
Ah Tang made her get along more harmoniously with her lover
In the same way, Ah Tang practice also made the relationship between the strong mother and her lover more harmonious. As the saying goes, it's easy to fall in love and hard to get along, after all, it's too difficult to find fellow travelers who have the same three views. Many times, after two people form a family, the major differences in the three views are exposed, but how to continue to get along next?
"I was also troubled by the difference in the three views, but in the Ah Tang practice, I was able to digest myself slowly. I also know that life can't be smooth sailing, so it's good to fulfill the role you want to play seriously. The role to be played in life comes from a sharing session with Teacher Shine, which I remember vividly. She recalled.
In life, Strong Mom has many roles, and she began to rank these roles. First of all, she is a daughter and must be filial to her parents; secondly, she is a mother and has to take care of the children; Again, she is a wife, and she must also have a share of her lover.
In the past, when she had a conflict with her husband, she would inadvertently have a confrontational mood and always target him. Gradually, she figured out that they all had their own roles to take on, and it was better to find a balance between these two roles.
Although life is unlikely to be smooth sailing, if you look at life in a different way, her life will gradually become more stable.
Anyone is suitable for practicing Ah Tang
In general, Zhuang Zhuang is a very tolerant Ah Tang practitioner, and she will have her own judgment and standards when dealing with some things.
Some of the Ah Tang practitioners around her are not dedicated to Ah Tang exercises, such as not being able to practice regularly, participating in improvement classes on other topics from time to time, and occasionally practicing their buttocks and legs. This kind of behavior may be minded by some Ah Tang practitioners, who think that they are not pure Ah Tang practitioners.
Zhuangzhuang's mother thought that those practitioners might only have limited knowledge of Ah Tang and did not meet the teacher who guided them to the Ah Tang practice path, because she remembered Teacher Shine saying that anyone is suitable for Ah Tang.
And she will also help the practitioners around her within her ability, especially Ah Tang Xiaobai. She admitted frankly that her asana can't be said to be good, but the concentration level during practice makes Xiaobai yearn for it.
At this time, she would advise Xiaobai to find an experienced teacher Tang to practice. In her opinion, she is no longer a simple Ah Tang practitioner, her role is changing, and she is willing to be a communicator of Ah Tang.
"Although it is unlikely that I will be able to teach the philosophy of yoga like a teacher, or give others auxiliary asanas and tell others how to improve their asanas, I can share how I have benefited from the practice of Ah Tang and help Xiaobai better understand the benefits of Ah Tang." She shared.
When her daughter grew up, Zhuangzhuang's mother began to think about what she could do besides taking care of the family. She usually loves small animals, and by chance, she began to participate in animal rescue projects, trying to help those small animals within her ability.
Three years ago, when she first came into contact with the project, she was unsure and sometimes wanted to quit, but as she did, she persevered, and the organization where she worked as a long-term volunteer became one of the largest animal rescue agencies in the area.
Looking back on the past now, she feels that being able to persevere is related to her regular practice of Ah Tang, that is, when encountering difficulties, she will not give up easily, as long as she firmly believes in this, she will always be able to see the moon.
At first, she came into contact with Ah Tang for a very simple purpose, hoping that through the practice of Ah Tang, her body would be less stiff and present a more comfortable state. In the process, her back pain was also relieved.
Later, she came into contact with a lot of yoga philosophy and yoga theory, and her understanding of yoga was constantly enriched. Especially after she came into contact with the school of action yoga, she would see the matter of rescuing animals as an extension of yoga to life.
Interview Notes:
Zhuangzhuang's mother is my netizen and once rewarded my articles. In an offline activity group of the brand, I saw her name and wanted to thank her in person.
Unexpectedly, she had a tight schedule that day, and she just said hello to me in a hurry. I've always thought I'm good at remembering what people look like, but I'm ashamed of her. The next time we meet, I'm afraid I won't recognize her.
However, she was very enthusiastic, and when I asked her to tell her story about Ah Tang, she readily agreed. Because she usually has a lot of things to do and is busy, I couldn't make an appointment for one-on-one voice communication, and our communication was done through WeChat voice messages.
She talked about a lot of interesting topics, especially the current situation of some Ah Tang classrooms, which gave me a new understanding of this market.
I never imagined that Ah Tang would talk so deeply about the changes that Ah Tang had on her that the influence of Ah Tang on her became the vein of this article, which was slightly different from the way I usually write, and made my writing process full of freshness.
I feel that Zhuang Zhuang is a practitioner of yoga/Ah Tang stories, and the most valuable thing is that she is willing to share it with me honestly after only one meeting. If I have the opportunity to meet her in the future and have an in-depth chat, maybe this story of the yoga can be further refined and adjusted to show people with a more complete appearance.
