In October 2019, during the filming of the 9-episode humanities documentary short film "Listen, This is Guizhou - Into Qiandongnan", Yan Weiwen, a first-class actor and well-known singer, was invited to Qiandongnan to collect wind and serve as a guest.
Yan Weiwen went deep into the Miao Township DongZhai in 4 counties (cities), including Langde Shangzhai, Nanhua Miaozhai, Baisha Miaozhai, Xiaohuang Village, Tianshengqiao, Zhaoxing Dongzhai and other places, with a total distance of more than 1,000 kilometers. The documentary presents the folk customs, folk music and people's livelihood of Guizhou through the combination of pictures and music, highlights the unique national cultural charm of Guizhou, and conveys the good voice of Guizhou to the world.
During the week-long trip to collect wind, Yan Weiwen heard the ancient Songs, Flying Songs, Love Songs, Wine Songs, and Dong Songs and Pipa Songs, and had in-depth exchanges with musicians who were committed to promoting Miao and Dong music.
In April 2020, the second season of "Listen, Here is Guizhou - Into Southwest Qianxi" micro-documentary was launched. The documentary series once again invited Yan Weiwen and his student, Zhao Yue, a young tenor of the Coal Mine Cultural and Labor Troupe, as guests. Taking the location of the collection of wind visits as the line, the film crew successively visited more than 20 villages and villages in 8 counties (cities) of Wangmo, Chengheng, Xingren, Xingyi, Zhenfeng, Pu'an, Anlong and Qinglong in Qianxian Prefecture, presenting the ethnic customs and ethnic cultures with regional representatives such as Buyi folk songs, musical instruments, and Miao and Yi songs and dances, so that the audience could listen to the natural sound of Guizhou and feel the beauty of Guizhou culture.
"It is no exaggeration to say that here I have heard the most beautiful voices!" Under a thousand-year-old banyan tree in Chengheng County, listening to the singing of the Unity of the Buyi singers and the nature of nature, Yan Weiwen sighed heartily.
The theme song of the documentary "Buyiluk Song" sung by Yan Weiwen was adapted by the professional team on the basis of the Buyi folk songs after the end of the collection. It was rewritten by the well-known lyricist Ren Yi and arranged by young composer Yang Yibo.
It is reported that the series of documentaries "Listen, Here is Guizhou" (Qiandongnan and Qianxian) has been broadcast on several new media platforms in China and overseas, and has simultaneously launched two versions in Chinese and English, attracting more world attention while protecting and inheriting the cultural heritage of ethnic minorities in Guizhou.
For the first time, the documentary series systematically sorts out the music of 17 ethnic minorities living in Guizhou in a professional audiovisual language, covers guizhou ethnic music in multiple languages to global social media platforms for the first time, and makes guizhou national music a hot topic for discussion by overseas social media platform audiences for the first time. According to statistics, the total exposure of the two seasons of micro-documentaries on many social platforms at home and abroad has reached 120 million times, and the number of video plays has exceeded 2 million times. This high-quality content of foreign exchanges with Guizhou characteristics and Guizhou style has further enhanced Guizhou's appeal and influence in the world.
"Many of the memories that Guizhou has left me are exclusive and unforgettable. I know a lot of Folk Singers in Guizhou, there are young people, there are intangible cultural heritage bearers, they have benefited me a lot. Yan Weiwen said that he heard a lot of beautiful sounds when walking in Guizhou, "I hope that in the future, I can take more time to go deep into the birthplace of Guizhou folk songs and find the best voices and the best folk songs." ”
Xia Hang: This is my "dream home"
On October 20th, at the launch ceremony of "Charm Guizhou World Sharing" - Colorful Guizhou Hot Words, sculpture artist Xia Hang donated the artwork "Dream Home" inspired by the characteristic architecture of Guizhou Miaozhai Residential Buildings at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Chaoyang District, Beijing.
Dreamland is 3.2 meters high, 2.2 meters long and 1.2 meters wide, with a suspended structure. Inspired by the architectural characteristics of Qianhu Miaozhai in Xijiang, Guizhou, the work is connected by the Chinese-style tenon method, and the works are exquisitely divided and connected, presenting a new sculptural language.
Xia Hang graduated from the Sculpture Department of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 2002 with a bachelor's degree. In 2009, he graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a master's degree. He now lives and works in Beijing and has held many solo and group exhibitions in Dubai, Sydney, Monte Carlo, Beijing, Shanghai and other places. He is good at artistic dismantling of everyday things, and using creative design to regenerate creation, one by one industrial parts in his hands into warm and thoughtful works of art, subverting people's constant cognition of many daily things.
This year, at the invitation of the Guizhou international flagship brand "Live in Guizhou" (here guizhou) project, Xia Hang entered the colorful Guizhou. "Dream Home" is what Xia Hang saw and felt in Guizhou's interview and creation, and it is his structure and re-creation of the characteristic buildings of Miaozhai residential buildings in Guizhou.
As a result of the "Live in Guizhou" (here guizhou) project operation, "Dream Home" uses different sculpture spaces to fit the spatial layout characteristics of Miaozhai, and the combination of traditional culture and modern technology gives people a rich visual feeling, which can more vividly understand the essence of traditional Chinese Miao architectural culture and experience the ecological value of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
"The Miaozhai architectural style is not only a manifestation of the way of life and aesthetics of the Miao people, but also the inheritance and continuation of the Spirit of Chinese culture." Xia Hang said, "The lights in Miaozhai at night are dimmed, and the fog carries a feeling of dream, which is a particularly warm dream. ”
"Chinese will have the plot of the ideal home, and everyone's ideal home is different, but it must be warm. The warmth I felt in Miaozhai touched me. Xia Hang said that "Dream Home" is formed in a fictional digital space, which is completely different from the reality in life, and builds an ideal home that combines virtual and reality, so that these scattered parts become spiritual.
Cai Guoqing: "Colorful" is the precise expression of Guizhou
"I have been to Guizhou countless times, and Huangguoshu Waterfall is the most beautiful waterfall I have ever seen in China." Cai Guoqing, a well-known singer and first-class actor, is an old friend of Guizhou, who has participated in condolence performances in Guizhou many times, and has personally experienced the batik production in Guizhou, and the national costumes in Guizhou have also left a deep impression on him.
Cai Guoqing said that when he first heard the advertising slogan "colorful Guizhou" on television, he felt that it was an accurate expression of Guizhou. He said that the colorfulness of Guizhou, in addition to being reflected in the natural scenery, is also colorful in culture.

Jin Chenkun: Let more Korean friends know about Guizhou
"China and South Korea are geographically close, culturally close, and emotionally connected." Before that, Zhao Yue had never been to Guizhou, and he knew very little about Guizhou music. After entering Guizhou, he saw a whole new world. "I only knew that Guizhou had good mountains and water, but when I arrived in Guizhou, I knew that the music here was more beautiful." Zhao Yue said that in last year's wind collection activities, he and Teacher Yan Weiwen collected a lot of ethnic music from southwest Qianxi, which benefited him a lot. "We collected a lot of duets and trios, and we also got a lot of streams, cicadas and mountain song duets, which were very magical." Zhao Yue said that the national music of Guizhou is deeply rooted in life, it cannot be written literally, and it can only be felt by personal experience.
Zhao Yue said that now many original music works have added ethnic minority music elements, Guizhou's national music is very distinctive, for music scholars, need to spend more time to go deep into the thousands of mountains in Guizhou, looking for the most beautiful sound.
Zhang Yanji: The improvement of transportation has made Guizhou more and more concerned
Zhang Yanji, product director of Baidu Search, said that the release of colorful Guizhou hot words brought him great encouragement.
