In that turbulent era, a young girl embarked on the road of no return to serve the motherland. She grew up to be an agent under the cultivation of the party, and she performed many miraculous feats. The most unbelievable thing is that she actually retrieved Chairman Mao's two sons who were exiled abroad! This earth-shattering past has not been made public until today. She is Li Yun, an extraordinary heroine. Have you ever heard of her?
In 1915, Li Yun was born in an ordinary family in Haining, Zhejiang. When she was 8 years old, she followed her parents to live in Shanghai. While attending a primary school taught by members of the Chinese Communist Party, Li Yun planted the spark of revolution in his heart. In 1929, at the age of 14, she joined the Communist Youth League of the Communist Party of China, and since then she has stepped into the revolutionary torrent and started a legendary life.
Soon, Li Yun was selected by the organization to join the "Party Training Class" for training. After the training, she officially became a member of the Chinese Communist Party and began to carry out various tasks assigned to her by the party. In this way, Li Yun unknowingly became an authentic red agent.
In 1931, Li Yun was sent to the Nanyang Tobacco Factory to engage in the youth movement. In the autumn of 1935, she was given a seemingly simple but important task: to find two descendants of the revolution. The young Li Yun did not dare to delay at all, and immediately embarked on the road of searching.
After more than half a year of running around the streets and alleys of Shanghai, Li Yun finally found two suspicious children at a porridge stall near the City God Temple. They were in tattered clothes, yellow-skinned, and had obviously suffered a lot. Li Yun approached them cautiously, but was extra guarded by the two brothers. In the end, with the help of Feng Xuefeng, the identities of the two brothers were confirmed - they were Chairman Mao's two long-lost sons, Mao Anying and Mao Anqing!
In 1936, 21-year-old Li Yun was sent to work beside Soong Ching-ling and became her secretary. Since then, Li Yun and Soong Qingling have formed a deep revolutionary friendship for decades. Once, Song Qingling personally asked Li Yun: "You say, am I a party member now?" It can be seen that Soong Qingling is loyal to the party.
After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, at the request of Song Qingling, Li Yun once went to Hong Kong with her. In 1938, Li Yun was "recalled" to Shanghai, separated from Soong Qingling. In 1939, Li Yun was ordered to go to Yan'an to reunite with her husband Xu Qiang, but was once isolated and censored. It wasn't until Zhou Enlai brought back the items given to her by Song Qingling that she was released.
In 1949, Li Yun returned to Shanghai and always wanted to see Soong Qingling again. Finally, Li Yun got his wish. The old friend was reunited, and Song Qingling was very happy to see Li Yun. Since then, their revolutionary friendship has become stronger and stronger.
has had a rough life, but Li Yun has never been afraid. She humbly said that she was just doing her best in accordance with the party's discipline. Until his death, Li Yun was proud and worthy of his life. Her legendary experience shows the noble character of the Chinese Communists: bravery, tenacity, and loyalty.
Li Yun's life can be described as tortuous and moving. As an ordinary girl, she resolutely chose the path of serving her country, thus starting a legendary journey. Her experience of retrieving Chairman Mao's two sons with her own hands was particularly shocking, reflecting her loyalty to the party and the people. At the same time, Li Yun and Soong Qingling's decades-long revolutionary friendship is also moving.
There is no doubt that Li Yun was a great hero, and she used her life to interpret the noble qualities of the Communists. She will always inspire future generations to bravely pursue their ideals and make unremitting efforts for them. On the occasion of the party's birthday, let us cherish the memory of Li Yun, the lovely daughter of the people, and offer our most sincere respect to the great achievements of the party in the past 100 years!
