5. The troops retreated and carried out major destruction
At 0:00 on March 4, an order was received from the Kunming Military Region that the 32nd Division was placed under the command of the 14th Army. The 14th Army must capture Guo Shen sometime on March 5, and after defeating Guo Shen, quickly retreat and blow up the Guo Shen Bridge. The engineering unit was ordered to carry out a barrier construction task and major engineering sabotage.
Our engineer battalion is in the guard of the mawsetter's organ. Everywhere you go, you have to dig a cat's ear hole to hide, and the mountain is full of holes, densely packed, and no one knows whether there are people or no one in that hole.
Since the beginning of the war, the sappers have only served as a cooperative combat detachment and have not had their own tasks, and today it is finally our turn to play. After the infantry defeated Guo Shen and retreated, the engineer battalion carried out the task of setting up obstacles and destroying the project more than 10 kilometers north of Guo Shen.
The battalion party committee also held a special party committee to study and deploy specific action plans:
First, the engineer company laid mines and barriers along both sides of the road to prevent the enemy's movements.
Second, the Zhouqiao Company used 14 tons of TNT explosives to destroy the enemy's barracks, factories, warehouses, roads, bridges, and other state-run facilities.
Third, the mechanical company will strengthen two infantry companies to serve as guards to ensure the safety of the operating troops.
The purpose was to make it impossible for the Vietnamese army to catch up with our army, and the pursuit distance of the Vietnamese army was more than 10 kilometers. It will not be possible for the Vietnamese national economy to recover for 15 years. After the task is differentiated, each company commander is responsible for the organization, the battalion cadres are in command, and the chief of the engineer section is the commander-in-chief.
Our Zhouqiao Company set up a demolition team, with Su Wanyou, deputy battalion commander, as the captain, and Hu Dongnian, the company commander, as the deputy captain.
There are 4 groups:
The leader of the first group is Xia Guoqiang, the leader of the 1st platoon, and the leader of the second group is Huang Kailu, the deputy instructor.
The leader of the 3rd group is Wu Xuezhen, the leader of the 2nd platoon, and the leader of the 4th group is Tang Wencan, the leader of the 7th squad.
The major groups are divided into several groups. I was the leader of Group 2 in Group 4. The major groups were responsible for blasting enemy bridges, roads, culverts, fortifications, barracks, hospitals, factories, and other state-owned facilities.
At 7:30 p.m. on March 4, the whole battalion set off by car and marched along Highway 7 to Quo Sang, the only channel from Hanoi to Lao Cai to the north where three roads converge at Quo San, both sides are full of lofty mountains and mountains, and the strategic position is very important.
As we marched to the front line of the battle, the road was blown up by the Vietnamese army into a large crater about 15 meters in diameter. The car could not drive past, only on foot, and the command came from the front: Expand the distance, prepare for battle! There was a clatter of bullets being loaded.
When we were about to reach the goal, there was a hidden command from the front, and we were lying on both sides of the road, and directly in front, our 94th and 96th regiments were fighting fiercely with the enemy, and the sound of gunfire was very fierce, and rows of rockets dragged red fireballs from our heads to the enemy position, and the ground was illuminated red.
All kinds of shells flashed by, and the explosions in front came one after another, wave after wave. As soon as the gunfire stopped, the gunfire resumed. The battle was still raging, and the sound of running was heard in the front, and groups of migrant workers carried the wounded and dead martyrs past us and sent them away.
Since the radio station lost contact with the command headquarters and could not be contacted after calling for a long time, Battalion Commander He had no choice but to send a communicator to run back and return to Weima to understand the situation. At 12 o'clock in the evening, the communicator returned, bringing back the orders of the headquarters, and since the situation ahead was not very clear, it was impossible to carry out the operation, and the whole battalion first withdrew to the original place of departure and stood by.
On the morning of 5 March, the battalion advanced again, and when it reached the milestone of the 56th kilometer from Lao Cai to the mouth of the river, a road bridge was blown up by Vietnamese troops, cutting off the road for advance and retreat. Section Chief of the Engineer Section Feng ordered to build a military bridge here, and the materials were taken locally, and the houses could be demolished to get wood. The whole battalion operated at the same time, and light machine guns stood guard on the hill.
Our 6th and 7th squads first blew down a few houses nearby, carried back a batch of wood, and the 1st platoon got back a cart of timber from the place where the people were going to build houses, and then, organized by the company commander, according to the bridge-building procedure, instructed everyone to pile up the timber on the broken bridge, and soon erected the foot of the bridge, just as everyone was working energetically, suddenly, only heard a bang in front, a shell made a whirring sound and flew to our bridge-building point, fell in the rice field 20 meters away from us and exploded, and then heard two bang-bang sounds. The whirring sound of two shells again flew to our bridge-building point and landed near us and exploded. With a bang, the troops panicked, ran around, and lay on the ground with rapid movements.
Section Chief Feng was the only one who squatted next to the Beijing jeep, and my fellow villager Wu Shaoqiang, who worked as a guard for Section Chief Feng, as well as the driver and radio communicator, all flew out of the car and lay on the ground.
I only heard Section Chief Feng shouting: Don't panic, don't run, quickly assemble and step up the operation. The troops were again organized to continue building bridges.
At this time, our 107 rocket artillery began to return fire at the enemy's artillery, and the first and second rounds of rockets flew from the top of our heads to the enemy, and when the third round of rockets flew in it sounded particularly harsh, not good!
With a bang, the troops once again sprang away and lay on the ground. A volley of rockets landed a little in front of our bridge-building point, and one of them fell on our bridge-building position, and after the explosion, a squad leader of the 3rd Company was hit, and he lay on the ground and shouted: I was hit.
At this time, Battalion Commander He hurriedly shouted through the radio: Don't shoot artillery! Don't shoot any more artillery, hit our positions.
The poor veteran, shrapnel went in from behind his buttocks, came out of the front of the inner thigh, blew the femoral artery, and the blood spurted out like a fountain, the hygienist hurriedly ran over and took out a first aid kit of his own to block the blood, and the other people present also took out a first aid kit and sent it over, leaving one for themselves.
It took a total of 7 first aid kits to stop the blood, and we asked the injured veteran: How do you feel and does it hurt? He said: It doesn't hurt very much, my leg is numb. also muttered to himself; The ass was blown up, how to see my girlfriend in the future. After a while, I saw that his face was pale, and he said: I don't want to talk anymore, I'm a little dizzy, I want to rest for a while.
Because we didn't have a migrant worker and didn't have a stretcher, we had to carry him onto the highway with a few people, call a car to drive over, pull him up, and send him to the rear as quickly as possible. Half an hour later, the radio reported that the veteran had died of blood loss.
This martyr named Jia Chuansheng is also a veteran of the branch like me, he is a tank regiment of the 1st Army, after coming to the 11th Army, the 11th Army has no tank regiment, and can only be arranged to drive bulldozers in the mechanical company of the engineer battalion of the 32nd Division. He was the first soldier of our battalion to die on the battlefield.
Was it Marshal Frunze of the USSR or which marshal said: artillery is the god of war.
But in my personal experience: artillery is not only the god of war, but also the god of the battlefield, the hero of battle, and the first hero of battle.
Without artillery, it would be difficult for us to rely on our own combat strength to capture the enemy's positions, and even if we could capture them, we would have to pay a heavy price. Without artillery, it would be difficult for us to complete the mission and come back alive.
Therefore, the first hero of a battle should be attributed to our artillery brother. Deng Xiaoping also said: Modern warfare is mainly about fighting steel, logistics, and command. Absolutely true.
Of course, the probability of artillerymen accidentally injuring infantry, especially sappers, is very small, and none of us blames artillery, and our infantry sappers often misfire and accidentally injure our own people. I almost killed the deputy of the seventh class.
We started working again, and the action was also accelerated, and Company Commander Hu shouted: Everyone hurry up the homework, the longer it drags on, the more it will be bombarded! 3 even drove the bulldozer over, pushed the approach bridge into an inclined plane with a bulldozer, drove over the bridge again, and then pushed out the other side of the approach bridge, a total of 4 hours, and the urgent military bridge was finally built. The engineer company also loaded explosives under the bridge and blew it up as soon as the bridge was used up!
It was this emergency military bridge that saved the lives of many infantry comrades. Originally, the bridge was built for the purpose of attacking, but today the order for a large retreat was received, and a large number of fighters retreated, and the first to retreat were the militia and migrant workers, and then a large number of infantry also came down.
If there is no military bridge, all the personnel can only wade over the water, and how much precious time will be delayed! The ability of the sappers is to open roads in the mountains and build bridges in the water.
At this time, the enemy also found that our troops were retreating and began to fire artillery at us, the infantry were running and retreating, but there were too many troops, and in order to cover the retreat of the infantry, the artillery of our army also roared, and the two sides became an artillery battle.
Li Tingzhong, the instructor of our company, and Zhang Shaoqing, the deputy company commander, were the first to retreat, and they returned to the south of the estuary to arrange for the vehicles of the third platoon to pick us up.
Battalion Commander He ordered: According to the original plan, each company will immediately enter its own area to carry out its own tasks.
The engineer company laid mines on both sides of the road, and planted small flags with careful mines, and used mine formations to create obstacles to prevent the pursuit of enemy troops. While they are laying mines, they also have to be careful not to step on the mines laid by the enemy.
The mechanical company and infantry were responsible for the vigilance.
The Boat Bridge Company began to carry out large-scale sabotage, and each entered its own operation area according to the division of labor, and the first platoon dug a pit in the narrowest part of the highway in the front to blow up the road. The 2nd platoon bombs permanent facilities such as the enemy's barracks and fortifications.
I was in group 4, consisting of two classes, 6 and 7, and each class was divided into 2 groups. The leader of the group is Tang Wencan, the leader of the 7th squad.
The first group was led by Chen Yang, the leader of the 6th squad, and led a total of 4 people, including Mao Qiaochang, Pu Dechang, and Yu Sangou.
I served as the leader of the second group, leading a total of 4 people, including Wang Hesheng, Wang Shuangfu, and Ban Youzhong.
The 3rd and 4th teams consist of 7 classes of 4 people each.
According to the division of labor, each team pulled the explosives from the targets to be destroyed by car, and each target was put in a pile and lined up all the way. The principle is: to complete the task of sabotage, but also not to injure one's own people.
Since there were a lot of infantry and the retreat was very slow, we could not blast at this time, and we had to sit on the sidelines and watch the infantry retreat after knowing the amount of explosives to be blown up, the route to escape after ignition, and the concealed position.
On March 6, the infantry and migrant workers retreated in large numbers, and we were very anxious, because they did not finish their journey, and we could not carry out our work, for fear of hurting our own people.
At this time, two migrant workers each came to us with two anti-tank mines on their backs, and seeing how tired and hard they were carrying them, I said: "Fellow, give me the mines, and I will blow them up as explosives." They happily thanked them and put the mines in the explosives pile, and they told me that these two mines had been carried on their backs since the first day of the war, and they had been carrying them like this for more than 20 days, and their backs were worn out.
The other 2 migrant workers also carried 4 blasters on their backs, and when they saw their companions put down the mines, they thought they could also put them down, so I hurriedly stopped them, we don't want this, we won't use them, who knows that the 2 ghost fellows ran away without returning after throwing down the blasting barrels.
Before the infantry had withdrawn, we had nothing to do, so we went to the houses and had a look at them, they were all made of logs, the roofs were covered with straw, and the inside was very messy, and the walls were covered with awards, and there were some propaganda posters against the American army. Looking at it, an idea suddenly popped into my heart: the enemy's military camp was blown up by us, and the enemy would have to live in civilian houses when he returned. We trained in the country, and when we left the barracks, didn't we just live in the houses of ordinary people. No, this house can't be left to them, absolutely can't be left behind!
Anyone in war can be killed, and burning a house is what he ××! I hurried back to the road and asked the retreating infantry, which of you has matches?
One of the veterans said, "I have, what do you want matches for?"
I said: I want to burn the house, and when they hear it, they don't believe it, you dare to burn the house (because we all have battlefield discipline).
After a while, the infantrymen became excited again: veteran, you don't really dare to burn the house, do you?
I said dare! The infantrymen are even more excited, well, we'll watch you burn.
I grabbed the matches, ran back to the house, pulled out a chair, lit some newspapers with matches, then stood on the chair and lit the straw on the roof, and in a moment the smoke rose and the fire soared. Dozens of infantry stood on the road and cheered loudly, burning, burning, burning his ××, veteran, burn well.
As soon as the infantry shouted, they attracted the chief of the engineer section Feng, and as soon as the car stopped, section chief Feng asked: What happened?
When the infantry saw that a cadre had come, they shouted even more vigorously: the veteran burned well, and the enemy who burned his ×× would not have a house to live in, and the Vietnamese ghost he ×× would also live in a cat's ear hole!
Section Chief Feng only glanced at it, didn't say a word, turned around and went back to the front, I saw that Section Chief Feng was not angry, knew that it was okay, called those soldiers, each took a burning plank to burn the other houses, and suddenly, the fire soared into the sky, a sea of fire.
The road was full of infantry, and some were even more excited to work with engineers. The infantrymen jumped and jumped back excitedly, shouting incessantly: Burn, burn, burn his ××!
In the burning house, we were startled by two explosions suddenly coming from one of the houses, it turned out that there were 2 grenades hidden in the house, which burned and exploded. Later, we ran at one o'clock, and more than 70 houses were quickly burned down for us. Of course, after returning to China, I reported the results of the battle, and I did not dare to report the burning of the house.
There were many fewer infantry retreating, and the heavy machine guns of the infantry that had been mounted on the mountain were also gone, so it was not a way to wait, and I don't know when to wait. A few of our team leaders discussed, do it!
My team first bombed an enemy hospital in the furthest distance. Entering the hospital, it is like returning to China, the equipment in the hospital is written with the words "Shanghai, China", 95% of the equipment is supported by China to Vietnam, the hospital is a two-story cement building, the four of us put the explosives on the support wall, tied the four blasting canisters to the crutches, and then pressed the mines, and used the detonating cord to connect the piles of explosives, and installed two ignition devices, just in case one of them does not sound.
After everything was done, let the three of them run first, and call Ban Youzhong to the highway to stand on guard, first, if they find the enemy's stragglers coming down the mountain, they will shoot, and second, they will block the infantry from approaching the explosion area, and if there is infantry passing by, shoot in my direction and inform me not to light fire.
I ran out of the hospital, shouted loudly: pay attention to concealment, detonated, and then ran back to the hospital, plugged in the fuse, pulled hard, pulled hard, the fuse squeaked, I quickly ran to the hiding place, there were so many straps hanging on my body, grenades and water bottles and so on touched together to make a clanging sound, gasping for breath, jumped off the bunker, subconsciously raised the submachine gun obliquely on my head, and blocked the vital part with the area of about 10 centimeters of the gun.
There was a loud bang, the earth shook, and everyone bounced, and after a while, large and small stones flew down, and hit the surrounding horns, and if they were hit by the stones, they had to die.
When the smoke passed, I went to check the quality, the hospital was blown down, and the mines were blown up, but the four blasting canisters were blown up into several pieces and flew out, falling into the ground and making several big craters, if they hit near our hiding point, we would also be injured, and I didn't dare to use the remaining four blasting canisters anymore.
The six military camps that are a little farther away from the highway are more concentrated, and we bomb them in groups of 2 buildings, and Wang Hesheng and I light the fire together, escape together, and hide each other. In the rumbling explosions, the enemy barracks were all blown down by us.
Then, we bombed other targets according to the designed destruction route, first far and then near, first easy and then difficult, and after the original piles of explosives were consumed by us, the targets disappeared one by one. Tons of explosives were quickly consumed by us.
Rejoice! The total amount of explosives I have consumed in the past few years as a soldier has not been more than this day, and it has been used haphazardly, blowing up wherever I want.
Our group's mission was completed very quickly, and there were not many remaining targets, the largest of which was a headquarters of the enemy army, a three-story building and some small annex buildings. Since this target is too close to the road, it cannot be blasted.
While I was resting for a while, I was underground calculating the charge.
At this time, Section Chief Feng drove over and asked: What are you doing?
I replied: I'm calculating the charge, and there may not be enough explosives.
Section Chief Feng scolded: Calculate a hammer, when is it, and calculate a crane, it will be difficult for you to build, it is not easy for you to destroy, it is probably about the same, if it is not enough, tell me, I will send us a telegram, the motherland will send us a lot of explosives, let's do it quickly.
At this time, other teams also dried up, and on a section of more than 10 kilometers, there was an explosion, and more than 50 state-owned facilities in Vietnam's factories, warehouses, etc., were blown down by their comrades-in-arms one by one.
The rest of my group is all the targets by the road, when bombing an enemy fortification, it almost injured the infantry, but also let Ban Youzhong on guard, he saw that there were infantry coming, so he shouted to the infantry not to come, the infantry thought that there was an enemy situation, but ran to this side with a gun, should Ban Youzhong put a gun in my direction to inform, but he was afraid that the infantry thought that he shot at the infantry, and regarded him as a Vietnamese agent, so he didn't dare to shoot, only shouted, I don't know what happened outside, and lit the fuse and came out, When I saw some infantry running, I shouted: Hide now, it's going to explode!
They reacted and ran in the direction I pointed, looking for a place to hide, and there was a loud bang, and the flying stones fell and the horn sounded, which was quite scary. The infantry, having come to their senses, did not blame us and quickened the pace of retreat.
On 7 March, the infantry had not yet finished withdrawing, and the first platoon in the front had to wait for all the infantry to withdraw before blowing up the road, and the second platoon in the back had to wait for the first platoon to pass before they could blow up the road.
The 14th Army laid Guo Shen at the specified time, and after the retreat, the engineer platoon of our 96th Regiment blew up the Guo Shen Bridge, and the military bridge we built also blew up the retreating sappers.
The enemy's artillery could only fire at us from the other end of the bridge. The artillery of our army has been withdrawn, because the infantry has not yet been fully withdrawn, and the 1st platoon in the front cannot leave, and they cannot raise their heads with more than 100 shells. 2 veterans of the 1st Company were killed in the artillery, 4 were wounded, and the radio in front sent back a request: a stretcher is needed, can it be detonated in advance!
In order to stabilize the morale of the army, Section Chief Feng and Deputy Chief of Staff Xia of the division went to the 1st Platoon position by car, held with them and commanded the infantry to retreat quickly.
Just in front of the enemy's shells, the later operating troops are not safe. There is a song that I still taboo to sing, and that is the interlude "Goodbye Friend" from the Yugoslav film "The Bridge", in fact, the lyrics are very good, full of revolutionary optimism and cheerful and brisk melody.
Chen Guokun, the deputy squad leader of my platoon 5th squad, and his team was responsible for blowing up the telephone poles, blowing down one and blowing up the other, and he was humming: Ah, friend, goodbye, friend, goodbye - if I die in battle-
With a bang, he stepped on a mine of the Vietnamese army, and his right leg was blown off, his right hand was blown off, and his right eye was blown off, and he was seriously injured and fell in a pool of blood. He was simply bandaged by his comrades in the group and carried into the car and pulled back to the rear.
At the critical juncture when we were facing the enemy's bombardment on the one hand and working intensively on the other, the mines planted by the engineer company caused the Vietnamese cattle to stumble, and the comrades of the angry 1st Company gritted their teeth, and he ×× that the mines planted by Lao Tzu were for the Vietnamese ghosts, not the Vietnamese cattle.
The sound of the explosion alarmed Section Chief Feng, who rushed to the scene, and after understanding the situation, he immediately gave the order - to fight the bull.
Suddenly, dozens of rifles, submachine guns, and light machine guns opened fire together, horn, horn, and swept the herd.
Speaking of cattle, this herd of cattle has actually been near our position all along, dozens of them grazing together, very leisurely, we ignored them, unexpectedly, just before we retreated, after laying the mines, these dead cows ran to the side of the road to destroy our minefield. The Vietnamese are hateful, even the Vietnamese cattle are ×× hateful, and he really didn't find the right place to find death in his ××.
Not to mention, the Vietnamese cow is still quite "bullish" in his ××, although we fired hundreds of bullets, how many bullet holes were in the cow's body, and while bleeding, while running up the mountain, they all fell down. We sappers did not fight face-to-face with the Vietnamese, but fought face-to-face with Vietnamese cattle.
My group finally blew up the enemy's headquarters building, we were divided into several blasts to blow it up, I don't know whether my technology is not good or the quality of the cement supported by the mainland to Vietnam is too good, the amount of medicine is more than enough, after several blasting, but the effect of the explosion is only bent over, can not fall, at this time, I only have 2 boxes of explosives and 4 blasting canisters left in my hand, when I was worried, Section Chief Feng came to my operation point, took a look, and immediately said: Okay, better.
When the enemy comes back, not only can they not live, but they will also have to work hard to dismantle it, and your task here is completed, and your team will go to the front to support them.
I said, "What if there are 2 boxes of explosives left?" Section Chief Feng said: Just put it here, come back and get it if you need it, don't use it.
Section Chief Feng is one of the soldiers I respect the most, and in my heart he is more important than Dong Cunrui, Huang Jiguang and other combat heroes, he is my most intuitive and touching hero.
He is 1.65 meters tall, in his 50s, weighing no more than 50 kilograms of lean man, with dark skin, if he is not wearing a cadre uniform with four pockets, he is worse than an old farmer who farms, it is said that he also suffers from liver disease, he is a soldier in the War of Liberation, participated in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and has his share in the Sino-Indian counterattack war.
Every word he scolds us is love, and he sincerely reminds you, otherwise, you will die, and I don't know how you died, if he scolds you, then you are blessed, and you will be safe.
At the enemy headquarters, I picked up 2 grenades from the Vietnamese army, and I wanted to bring them back for capture, but they were very heavy on my body, and in the environment at that time, I felt very heavy even if I brought an extra piece of paper, let alone 2 iron guys. Now that 2 boxes of explosives are gone, what's the use of taking 2 grenades.
Finally, I ran to the river, unscrewed the tail caps of the two enemy grenades, which were similar to our grenades, but the handles were half shorter, put on the rings, threw them into the river, and with two bangs, they exploded the fish.
In the afternoon, Instructor Zhang led us to the 3rd group and told us to be on alert and shooting, as soon as we noticed any movement on the mountain.
The thing that worried us the most finally happened, when the Vietnamese stragglers, who had been beaten away by our troops, quietly came down the hill and fired at us, and we unceremoniously returned fire to the enemy on the hill until there was no movement on the hill before we stopped shooting.
The enemy's artillery shells were constantly hitting here, and it was learned from the radio that the large part of our army had been withdrawn, and the divisional organs in Weima had also been withdrawn. Now we're left with sappers on the front line.
Deputy battalion commander Su Wanyou made a final inspection along the way, and when he came to the blasting point of the third group, he asked Wu Xuezhen, the platoon commander: Why haven't you loaded explosives yet, after the first two blasting points detonated, you are the last blast here.
Wu Xuezhen replied: It was the company commander who refused to let him load it, saying that he would wait for his order to load the explosives.
At this time, the company commander Hu Dongnian also came here for inspection, and when he saw the situation here, he immediately scolded: What kind of dick is it, what dick is waiting, you can't take the initiative, the other groups have completed the task, and you are still there.
Wu Xuezhen was also very aggrieved, and also retorted loudly: You don't call it explosives, I am carrying out your orders, and you should be responsible for being responsible.
Deputy Battalion Commander Su shouted: Don't make any noise, what time is it, quarrel with a hammer, listen to my command: You (pointing at me) are responsible for igniting the fire, and the others will immediately load the explosives, and after the explosives are loaded, they will quickly retreat.
The third group and our group stacked the explosives on the holes, and I installed 2 detonators to be safe.
It was about 10 o'clock in the evening, many people in front of me ran towards me, the clanging sound of metal impact was the unique sound of each soldier running, and the first group of Xia Guoqiang of the first platoon ran over, and the second group of deputy instructor Huang Kailu ran over.
There was a loud bang, the sky shone, the ground shook, and the first explosion exploded. Immediately afterwards, the company commander also ran over, and the last one to run to my detonation point was Deputy Battalion Commander Su, who was holding a pistol in his hand, panting and pouting and giving me an order: Detonate!
I quickly plugged in the two fuses that I had grabbed in my hand, pulled one horn, and then the second one, and when I saw that both fuses were squeaking, I turned over and climbed onto the road and ran back.
I didn't run a few steps, the second explosion was another shining, the ground shook, and soon there was a whirring sound of flying stones in the sky, and then, large pieces of stones flew down, hitting all around me, the horn sounded, it was very dark, and it was on the road, there was no place to hide, and there were mines on both sides of the road. The stones fell, and several more mines were detonated, and several sounded behind me.
I was running back desperately, at this moment I should be the last retreating soldier of our army, the charge must not be at the front, but the retreat is really at the end.
I saw a car parked on the road 800 meters in front, the car started, the lights were covered with cloth, only a slight light, when I ran closer, more than 10 soldiers on the car shouted to me: veteran, run, run!
I was the same clanging, running crookedly, and when I ran into the car out of breath, the car started. I sat in the trunk, gasping for breath, and when the soldier handed me the kettle, I was not welcome, and drank it in a big gulp.
I installed the fuse for 15 minutes, and the car couldn't go for a while, and there was another flash, a loud bang, and the ground shook, and then there was another detonation of mines, and since we were driving away, at this time, the stone could not hit me. The Vietnamese army is still firing artillery behind us to see us off.
The car sped up and chased after it, and a total of three automobile regiments in front were picking up all the combatants back and forth.
The car drove to Banfei, and all the personnel formed here, and lined up a few cars in a few rows, fast! Fast! All the personnel moved quickly, and at this very time, our fighters, which we had only seen during the day, also flew into our sky at night to cover them. The long convoy, blindfolded with headlights, pulled away and returned victoriously.
