The sharp words, the verses are mentioned, and the branches of Zen are also ended; Through the understanding of feelings, Zen is also fundamental. The meaning of the text is eliminated, the names of the chapters and sentences, and the branches of the teaching; Contemplating the mind into the evidence, teaching the fundamentals. garments and bowls, tin rods and shoes, and branches of law; There is no leakage of the law, and the law is fundamental. Gou Yi Zen penetrates the feelings, why not look at the mind into the evidence, there is no leakage of the law. Gou contemplates the mind according to the teachings, and there are constantly leaks in the law, and the understanding is clear. According to the law, there is a leak in the law, why is it not possible to get rid of the feelings, and the mind is proven. Not only is there no separation, but there is also no compatibility. There is no separation, so the great sages and sages from ancient times all run through the three scholars; There is no compatibility, so the real knowledge from ancient times is all specialized. The six ancestors Nanyue and others have not tried to give precepts and say scriptures. Peeping into the long water, etc., I have not tried to drink the precepts for others. Dao Xuan Huaisu and others have not tried to give lectures in the church. Descending from the modern Zunsu, there are also ancient styles to look up to, such as Shouchang Zen Master, who knows the meaning of the teachings and teachings, and finally does not give precepts and scriptures. Master Xuelang knows the meaning of Zen law very well, and never mentions the ordination. Because of the three laws of Zen Buddhism, there is always a Dharma outside the mind. Since it is the Dharma of the mind, then in the original mind, it is fully complete and sufficient, and there is no lack of less, and there is one root, that is, three roots, that is, one and three, that is, three and one. Therefore, it is certainly wrong to separate and cling to one sect and one sect, but it is also wrong to seek it together in the branches. Separation and attachment will inevitably breed quarrels, and merging to seek will inevitably lead to overflow and unification.

The reason for this disadvantage is that some cultivators do not know that in order to liberate life and death, they go straight to the Bodhi fruit of the sage, so they try to be false and not true, and they do not want to be the root of the three sects of Zen Buddhism. You must know that the three laws of Zen Buddhism are all pseudonyms, and you can really realize them, which is the truth of the three sects.

If the scholars of the three sects of Zen law really set out to study for the liberation of life and death, then they must be able to learn the three schools of Zen law throughout. How can a true Zen practitioner reject the texts? How can a true Zen practitioner reject strict adherence to the precepts? How can a true student reject the precepts? How can a true student reject the Heart Sect? For those who are studying, discipline is the foundation of learning, and only by studying the scriptures of the sages can they have sufficient Taoist vision. However, if a person who adheres to the law only works his clothes, and a person who studies and teaches only works nouns and appearances, it is also a great disappointment to the original intention of the saints.

Master Yu Yi also said in the "Lingfeng Sect Treatise - Preface to the Gift of Incense Monks": "This is not the case today, the law-holders are not only at a loss for Zen teaching, but also at a loss for 380,000 yuan. The performer is not only lacking in Zen law, but also responsible for contemplating the mind according to the teaching. Those who participate in Zen meditation not only have the teachings not been passed and have not been prepared, but also verify the outline of the sect without the real law, but also do the real law and death puja. ”

The three sects are originally self-integrated, and they are not fundamentally integrated with the three sects, and no matter how much they want to be integrated, they are still only forcibly blended, and the more they are blended, the farther away they are from the liberation of cultivation.

Meditation falls into unheard of criticism, and abstaining from wisdom and wisdom is often reduced to evil. It is said that every time it is a medium for fame and fortune, and the precepts are abolished, it is rare to fall into empty talk. ”

In fact, the three disciplines of Zen law cannot be separated, and they must be based on the precepts, plus the recitation and study of the canons, and then the study of the Zen method of awareness of the mind. If a practitioner of the Dharma divides the three disciplines of Zen teachings, then the practice of the Vinaya is only a blessing for adults, and if the offender has not yet attained it, it may not be able to keep the blessings of others. If the precepts and wisdom are wasted, then then the view will be reduced to evil and evil views. If the study is obsessed with holding and preaching the Fa, it is inevitable that the teaching of the Fa will always become a medium for fame and fortune, and if both of the precepts and cultivation are abolished, then few people who teach and study the Fa will not fall into empty talk.

"The pseudo-mountain Lingyou Zen master of the Tang Dynasty, as a great master of the Zen sect, is a person who advocates the practice of Zen, and he cannot be exempted from the precepts and the classic works of the sages. In the ancients, they have always been integrated, but unfortunately in later generations, they are divided into categories, giving birth to all kinds of gateway views, and they are not good at integrating them.

It is also known as reciting the name of the saint, surviving the land of the saint, and it is far from the three schools of Zen law that integrates the three schools of Zen teaching, and there is also a method of reciting the name of the saint. Therefore, those who truly recite the name of a saint and those who really seek to survive in the land of a saint will never reject the three studies of Zen teachings and laws, and they will definitely be integrated with the three studies of Zen teachings and laws. In fact, apart from the three schools of Zen teaching, how can there be a method of reciting the name of a saint and surviving the land of a saint.

Cultivating the mind under the law, the sound and hearing precepts stop committing offenses, and the bodhisattva vows are holding and stopping offenses. Reciting the name of the Buddha in the mouth, the heart remembers the pure thoughts, the three poisons are buried, the six roots are pure, and the law is in it. ”
