Over the past 10 years, we have focused on more than 100 health themes and carried out a total of 436 online and offline courses, focusing on the four core aspects of children's health management: scientific parenting of children, promotion of physical and mental health, scientific management of diseases, and reasonable medical treatment. At present, a complete and systematic system of popular science knowledge content has been established, and a distinct "Internet +" public service model of health science popularization has been formed.
Today, we have reached a cooperation with Shanghai People's Radio, hoping to further expand the influence of the Children's Health Lecture Hall with the help of multimedia means in the new era, so that the medical science knowledge of experts from Shanghai Children's Hospital can be more widely disseminated to thousands of households and benefit more families in need.

"Live Over 100 Years Old" is a health science program created by Shanghai News Broadcasting, and many experts are frequent guests in our live broadcast room. We remember that more than ten years ago, we launched the "Rabbit Story Treasure Box" together, and many "good voices" on the radio recorded hundreds of children's stories, bringing warmth and friendship to the children in the ward. Many of our hosts also participated in the donation activities for children with leukemia held by Shanghai Children's Hospital.
Today, our cooperation goes one step further. In the era of media convergence, radio has long been more than just a voice, and we are confident that the good content produced with heart will be disseminated more widely.

ADHD: There are two extremes in the current parent association, one is excessive attention, in fact, the child is just lively and active, and has no functional impact, such as affecting classroom discipline, resulting in interpersonal tension, at this time parents do not need to be overly anxious. The other extreme is the stigma of illness, talking about the discoloration of medicine, thinking that "my child is not sick", but the child's behavior has actually affected academic performance, interpersonal relationships or classroom discipline, and over time, it will affect the child's self-evaluation and physical and mental health due to long-term academic burden and interpersonal tension, and it is easy to suffer from mental illness, so it is recommended to seek support from a specialist doctor as soon as possible.
The medical name for ADHD is "Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder", and in addition to the hyperactive impulsivity that parents know, there will also be manifestations of inattention. Hyperactivity in medicine is hyperactivity regardless of the occasion and lacks a sense of rules. For example, when you can't sit still in class, you leave your seat, look around, make small movements, and talk, which affects the students around you. Some children seem to be very quiet, but they are easy to get distracted in class, be in a daze, procrastinate in homework, be careless and sloppy, do things in an unorganized manner, and lose stationery.
Treatment varies depending on age and severity. For children who come to the clinic in preschool and first grade, behavioral interventions, such as exercise training, participation in household chores, attention training, and executive function training, can help improve sensory integration and develop a sense of time, planning, and organization. In the case of senior students and poor behavioral interventions, the combination of behavioral and pharmacological treatment will mostly achieve satisfactory results. The Department of Children's Health Care of Shanghai Children's Hospital has a special outpatient clinic for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and a psychological clinic, which can solve the problem of hyperactivity and distraction in children and adolescents in one stop and provide family psychological support.

Abnormal sexual development: Girls start to grow beards and menstruation is delayed? The boy's penis does not develop, and the parents can't touch the child's testicles? Gender dysplasia, abnormalities in the appearance and development of sexual organs, and abnormal gonadal function are collectively referred to as dysplasia (DSD). If parents feel that their child has an abnormality in the development of sexual characteristics, regardless of whether the child is in puberty or not, it is recommended to come to the hospital early for a comprehensive screening.
DSD is a comprehensive problem, not all problems can be solved by a simple operation, it requires multidisciplinary experts such as urology, endocrinology, molecular genetics, pathology, general surgery, and radiology. Shanghai Children's Hospital has established a DSD clinical diagnosis and treatment center, no matter which department the child is registered in, he will be transferred to this center, and all experts from these relevant departments will make ward rounds, joint examinations, and centralized discussions, which greatly reduces the dilemma of patients running back and forth, repeated registration, and even having no way to seek medical treatment.
In addition, Shanghai Children's Hospital has relaxed the age of consultation to 35 years old for congenital genetic diseases, structural abnormalities and rare diseases, which means that children diagnosed with DSD can continue to be treated in the center until adulthood. The center has also cooperated with a number of comprehensive tertiary hospitals in Shanghai to establish the Shanghai Sexual Development Disorders Expert Alliance, which has built a life-cycle management model and strived to provide lifelong medical protection for these children.

Febrile seizures: febrile seizures are common in children aged 3 months to 6 years, occurring in 3% to 5% of the population. If your child has a seizure outside the hospital, do not press, do not pinch the person, do not stuff or feed the child, but put the child on a flat bed or floor, let him lie on his side, clean up oral secretions, and keep the airway open and not suffocating.
Febrile seizures are divided into simple and complex types, and if one of the three episodes of seizure time of more than 15 minutes, generalized seizures, and multiple seizures is satisfied, we classify it as complex febrile seizures. The probability of simple febrile seizures evolving into epilepsy is about 1%~1.5%, while the probability of complex febrile seizures evolving into epilepsy is about 4%~15%, which is about 4~10 times that of simple seizures, so we need to be more careful and pay more attention to follow-up.
The Epilepsy Center of Shanghai Children's Hospital is the first national epilepsy center to be licensed, which has been established for 7 years and serves 20,000 epilepsy patients from all over the country every year, more than 80% of whom come from other provinces and cities. Every Thursday afternoon, we have a multidisciplinary clinic to address refractory epilepsy through a multidisciplinary platform.

Abdominal pain: There are many causes of abdominal pain in children, and abdominal pain related to gastrointestinal diseases mainly includes poor diet, Helicobacter pylori infection, peptic ulcer, food allergies, constipation, etc. Gastrointestinal endoscopy plays an important role in the diagnosis of gastrointestinal diseases in children, and there are many places used in treatment, such as foreign bodies in children's digestive tract, which are more common in clinical practice is coin-like foreign bodies, if the coins have been in the stomach, and the child has no uncomfortable symptoms, it can be discharged by itself, if the coins are stuck in the esophagus, and cause the child to have pain, salivation, refusal to eat, crying and other symptoms, it can be taken out by gastroscopy.
What we are most worried about is actually corrosive foreign bodies, such as button batteries, if they remain in the esophagus for a long time, it is easy to cause corrosive damage and even perforation, and some can also lead to serious problems such as cicatricial esophageal stricture. Therefore, it is recommended that parents try not to buy toys with button batteries for their children. In addition, there are some dangerous toys, such as magnetic beads, if a few are eaten by children, they may attract each other and become incarcerated in a certain position of the gastrointestinal tract, causing more serious damage, and there may be a risk of perforation of the digestive tract for a long time.
With the popularization and application of pediatric gastrointestinal endoscopy, some parents are worried that general anesthesia gastrointestinal endoscopy will make children stupid, which is wrong. In addition, our second department of gastroenterology has the current advanced magnetically controlled capsule endoscopy system for parents to choose, capsule endoscopy has become an important examination method in the diagnosis of children's digestive diseases because of its own characteristics and advantages, because of its safe, convenient, fast and non-invasive characteristics, it has been favored by more and more parents.

Tumors: Solid malignant tumors in children are a small probability event, and statistics show that the incidence of liver malignant tumors in children, such as hepatoblastoma, is only about 1.5 per 1 million in Shanghai, that is, there are only 2 cases of children under 14 years old in Shanghai every year; The incidence of liver cancer in adults in Shanghai is 17-18 per 100,000. Therefore, it is recommended that children with solid malignant tumors go to a specialized hospital with a "pediatric cancer diagnosis and treatment center" for treatment. For solid tumors in children, it is recommended to do abdominal ultrasound examination at the following three time points: (1) "big screening" of B ultrasound at 5 and 6 months of pregnancy; (2) about 1 year old; (3) Between 3-5 years old. Because most of the solid malignant tumors in children occur before the age of 6, children who need to be examined can go to the Health Management Department of Shanghai Children's Hospital for screening.
Resection of solid tumors in children is similar to surgery for adult tumors, but surgery for adult tumors is relatively focused on a single organ; Pediatric solid tumor surgery includes tumor surgery for many systems and organs, such as reproductive system tumors, children's ovaries, uterus, and even vagina will have malignant tumors, such as vaginal endodermal sinus tumors, which requires pediatric oncology surgeons to have gynecological surgery skills, not only to remove tumors, but also to ensure their function; At the same time, pediatric oncologists perform both minimally invasive and macroinvasive surgeries. It is also necessary to achieve full life cycle management for children with solid malignant tumors. As a result, pediatric oncologists are always "walking on thin ice and trembling".
In addition, for children with solid malignant tumors, not only surgical treatment, but also psychological care from doctors, social workers, media, etc. For example, about 85% of patients with malignant solid tumors in our hospital are preschool children; When these children grow up, they realize that they have had surgery because they have huge scars, so the pediatric oncologist also performs plastic surgery to repair the scars of these grown children. Finally, do not isolate children with malignant tumors from society, let them return to society, let them have a normal life, normal study, normal friends, normal marriage, and do not look at them with special eyes.
