Yin Caicai: Rooted in the frontier, adhere to the original intention of educating people

From the Jianghan Plain to the northwest border, he used 12 years of perseverance to demonstrate the dedication of teachers in Xinjiang, and poured all his efforts into the three-foot podium.

Back in 2012. At that time, Yin Caicai was a Chinese teacher at Yuanlin No. 1 Middle School in Qianjiang City, Hubei Province. One day, he received a task to work in the 88th Regiment School of the 5th Division of the XPCC, more than 3,000 kilometers away, as one of the first batch of teachers in Qianjiang City, Hubei Province.

"At that time, we came to Xinjiang for half a year, came in February, and returned in September. I didn't expect to stay for 12 years. Yin Cai said with a smile.

When he first arrived at the 88th Regiment School, Yin Cai undertook the work of teaching Chinese in the first three grades. He created a Chinese classroom to teach Chinese through storytelling and classroom performances, so as to cultivate children's interest in Chinese classes. Thanks to his efforts, the results of the Chinese high school entrance examination of the 88th Regiment School ranked among the top middle schools in Shuanghe City of the Fifth Division.

In the blink of an eye, it is the end of the aid to Xinjiang, and in Yin Cai's heart, in addition to the joy of seeing his family, he is more reluctant to give up the children of the 88th Regiment School. "Before leaving, the children came to see me off, hugged me one by one, and asked me, 'Teacher, where are we going to see you in the future?' Yin Cai immediately made up his mind to stay for another three years.

Time flies quickly, three years have passed in a blink of an eye, not only are the children inseparable from Yin Caicai, but he is also unwilling to leave the 88th Regiment School. "Ten years of trees, 100 years of people. Education is a long-term achievement, and as a teacher, it is deserving of a better education for students. Yin Cai said.

Although the idea of staying in Xinjiang has been lingering in Yin Cai's mind for a long time, he has not told his family and friends, and his wife Liu Shangjiao was shocked when she learned about it. Yin Cai is the eldest son in the family, and his parents need to be taken care of, and his son, who is about to enter the third year of junior high school, has also reached a critical period of study.

But for Yin Cai, the children of the 88th Regiment School needed him, and that was the reason why he stayed.

In September 2015, Yin Cai took his wife and son to settle down in the 88th Regiment. Since then, he has devoted himself wholeheartedly to the school's teaching and research work, and established the "Yin Cai Chinese Teaching Studio" to provide a learning and exchange platform for the school's teachers. Under the influence and drive of Yin Caicai, a group of Hubei teachers who aided Xinjiang stayed one after another. In April 2018, Ye Zhongchun, a Chinese teacher at Yuying Senior High School in Luotian County, Hubei Province, was officially transferred to the Fifth Normal Senior High School after three years of aid to Xinjiang. "Teacher Yin Caicai, as the first teacher from Hubei Province to be transferred to the Corps, has set a good example for us." Ye Zhongchun said. Up to now, 9 teachers from Hubei Province have been officially transferred to Shuanghe City, the Fifth Division.

In August 2018, Shuanghe City of the Fifth Division awarded the "Yin Talent Famous Teacher Studio" (data picture). After the establishment of the studio, Yin Cai formulated a "four-level" growth plan for teachers, carried out teaching design, lectures and other activities, and strengthened the basic skills training of teachers. In September 2019, the studio successfully undertook the teaching and research activities of picture books in primary and secondary schools, which was well received.

"Teaching is not just a profession for me, it's a calling, and I want to work here until I get old, watching the children succeed in their studies." Yin Cai said that education is to plant the seeds of knowledge and dream chasing in the hearts of children, and watching it take root and sprout is the most fulfilling thing for a teacher.

Yin Cai still remembers the letter a student wrote to him after he was admitted to the university of his choice: "In my life, I am lucky to have a teacher like you. Because of you, we go out and see a more wonderful world. ”

Yin Cai said that at that moment, he felt that his efforts were worth it.
