In order to enhance the fire safety awareness of community residents and improve fire prevention and self-rescue capabilities, recently, the Donghu Village Community of Luojiashan Street, Wuchang District held a fire safety knowledge lecture and simulation drill. The purpose of this activity is to popularize fire protection knowledge, improve the fire prevention, fire escape and self-rescue ability of residents and businesses, and the use of fire extinguishing equipment skills, and comprehensively improve the safety and emergency response ability of residents.

This event invited Bao Yuhui, an instructor from Wuhan Jin'an Fire Prevention Publicity and Training Center, to explain the knowledge of fire prevention to community residents and shop leaders. "Actually, these fires could have been avoided." Through the shocking fire case, Instructor Bao emphasized the importance of fire prevention, and reminded everyone present to pay attention to the safety hazards around them, such as gas leakage, aging wires, electricity leakage and other problems. At the same time, he also taught everyone how to save themselves and reduce losses in the event of an accident.

In order to let residents understand the fire escape skills more intuitively, this event also built a fire experience house to simulate real fire scenes. During the exercise, everyone followed the instructions to line up with their shoulders or clothes to enter the smoke-filled simulated house, cling to the wall, bending their knees, and successfully finding the exit and escaping smoothly. The drill not only allowed the residents to experience the tension of fire escape, but also deepened their understanding and memory of fire escape knowledge.
