The event played the highlights of the 5th "My China Album". Xie Feng said that since 2019, the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in the United States and China Daily have held the "My China Album" event for five consecutive years, using pictures and videos to freeze the warm moments of friendly exchanges between the Chinese and American peoples. Over the past year, we have collected more than 100 moving stories of friendship between the Chinese and American peoples, and gathered them into this thick "China Album". The album engraves the history of the Chinese and American people fighting side by side and helping each other, witnessing the journey of the two peoples intersecting with each other and overcoming estrangement, and recording our footprints of exchanges and mutual learning.

Xie Feng said: The foundation of Sino-US relations is laid by the people, the door of Sino-US relations is opened by the people, the story of Sino-US relations is written by the people, and the future of Sino-US relations is created by the people. It is precisely the people's two-way rush that has brought China-US relations back to the right path from the trough time and time again. At present, China-US relations are still facing challenges. We should tighten people-to-people ties, enhance people-to-people communication, and inject bubbling warmth and inexhaustible impetus into China-US relations. We need to see each other correctly and be friends rather than rivals. We must not be afraid of the chilling effect and cheer for China-US relations. We have only the responsibility to protect peace, and there is no reason to provoke confrontation. We need to carry forward the friendship between China and the United States and strengthen the "power of youth". The future of China-US relations lies in the youth. If the younger generation gets along with each other, there will be hope for Sino-US relations.

David Booth, violinist of the Philadelphia Orchestra, said that music not only touches people's hearts, but also builds a bridge between the two peoples.
