On May 17, on the occasion of the 34th "National Day for the Disabled", in order to further promote the traditional virtues of helping the disabled and create a good atmosphere of mutual assistance, friendliness and integration, the appraisal personnel of Zilu Town, Luoshan County, together with the County Disabled Persons' Federation and the County People's Hospital, went to the glorious nursing home in the center of Zilu Town to visit and comfort the disabled and provide accurate door-to-door assessment services for disabled patients.
The group first came to the nursing home for the disabled care center, and sent daily necessities such as rice, flour and oil, living condolences and wheelchairs for the elderly and disabled people, and through cordial conversations, recorded in detail the practical difficulties of the elderly in daily life such as diet, accommodation and rehabilitation, and encouraged them to build confidence and live actively. At the same time, the staff of nursing homes should take the well-being of the disabled to heart, focus on the diverse and personalized needs of the disabled population, further strengthen the sense of service, and provide them with more intimate and professional services, so that they can enjoy their old age in the big family of the nursing home.
In addition, in order to enhance the physical fitness of the disabled and show the positive, upward and healthy mental outlook of the elderly disabled in the jurisdiction, the civil affairs social worker of Zilu Town took care of the physical condition of the disabled group and specially selected the fitness patting exercises that can be completed by sitting on a chair. Under the guidance of the detailed action demonstration and patient words of the social worker volunteers, the elderly followed the rhythm of the cheerful music, twisted their waists, waved their hands, patted their shoulders, and finished the workout, which not only relieved the physical pressure, but also gained a happy mood, and the elderly had a happy smile on their faces.
In order to effectively solve the problem of "difficulty in applying for certificates" caused by physical inconvenience and long distances for the disabled, "zero distance" door-to-door certificate application services are provided for the disabled in Zilu Town. At the assessment site, the disability assessment and appraisal doctor shall comprehensively understand the physical condition of the disabled person by reviewing medical records, on-site diagnosis and treatment, oral questioning, etc., and popularize the precautions for the daily care of the disabled to his or her family, strictly complete the information collection work in accordance with the relevant disability assessment regulations, and patiently explain the work of explaining to applicants who do not meet the disability assessment standards, so as to promote the efficient development of the disability assessment work.
In this activity, the Union County Disabled Persons' Federation provided door-to-door disability assessment services for more than 15 people in the jurisdiction, truly focusing on the needs of the disabled to apply for certificates, implementing various policies benefiting the disabled, so that the disabled can truly feel the convenience and warmth brought by the party and the government, and realizing that the eligible disabled people "should do everything" and the disability policy "should be enjoyed".
