On the morning of May 16, 2024, the summer breeze in the land of Xiqi was gentle and the sun was shining. Cao Luhui, executive deputy captain of Qiyang Charity Volunteer Service Team of Qishan County, Yang Xijuan, Shi Chunxia and Li Xinwei, deputy captains, led 18 volunteers including Zhang Gaili, Zheng Chengyue, Wang Yanli, Yang Mei, Zhai Xiaohong, Duan Yindi, Long Dangyun and Wang Chunjuan to participate in the on-site volunteer service of the 34th "National Day for the Disabled" held by the Disabled Persons Working Committee of the county government and the County Disabled Persons' Federation.
Early in the morning of the same day, the volunteers rushed to the county seat Lile Square, and after a short docking, they divided labor and cooperated and devoted themselves to the intense volunteer service work. Some push wheelchairs, some lift exhibition racks, some take care of the disabled with reduced mobility, and help the physically disabled people in the cultural service center to display handicrafts. Volunteer Cao Luhui drove his own tricycle to help transport wheelchairs, exhibition boards, exhibition racks and other items, and he also drove the severely disabled people with limited mobility home, which touched the crowd at the scene and was well received by everyone.
Charity to help the disabled, affection. In the past 7 years since its establishment, the Qiyang Charity Volunteer Service Team of Qishan County has participated in the on-site volunteer service work of the "National Day for the Disabled" held by the Disabled Persons Working Committee of the County Government and the County Disabled Persons' Federation for 5 consecutive years. The team takes practical actions to help the disabled, fulfills the duty of helping the weak and the poor, practices the core values of socialism, spreads positive energy with volunteer service, helps the high-quality development of the county economy, and makes the disabled feel the warmth of the social family.
