At the beginning of the event, a promotional video showed the effectiveness of technology in the field of rehabilitation of people with disabilities. In the video, advanced technology provides more opportunities for people with disabilities to recover, allowing them to regain their confidence and courage in life. The disabled friends present were all touched by the rehabilitation vision in the promotional video, and every bit of development and progress in disability technology can bring hope and encouragement to people with disabilities. Mr. Ma, a hearing-impaired person, told reporters under the translation of a sign language interpreter: "I always thought that disability would follow me for the rest of my life, but the continuous progress of science and technology filled my heart with hope. ”
In order to let the disabled friends have a deeper understanding of the charm of science and technology, Xietu Street has also prepared a series of colorful activities at the event site. The mobile app photography teaching course allows everyone to experience the convenience and practicality of technology in life, so that people with disabilities can also use their mobile phones to record the "little luck" in life; In the employment guidance session, the relevant staff of Xietu Street patiently explained employment information and interpreted preferential policies for disabled friends, and made suggestions for their future career development; In the psychological counseling area, Xietu Street invited professional psychological counselors to listen to everyone's voices, provide psychological counseling and support, and encourage them to face life's challenges with a more positive and optimistic attitude.
The event also set up a variety of prize games, such as rings, pitchers, handmade DIY creative table lamps, etc., creating a happy and warm atmosphere. The students from the Sunshine House and Sunshine Heart Garden also brought their handmade handicrafts for charity sale, and the proceeds were donated to the Xietu Street Community Foundation to help more disabled people in need.
