On the occasion of the second anniversary of the implementation of the "Regulations on Letters and Visits" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations"), all units and departments in Jizhou District have actively carried out a series of publicity activities to create a good legal environment in the whole society for handling matters in accordance with the law, finding the law in case of trouble, solving problems and using the law, and resolving conflicts by relying on the law, so as to comprehensively promote the rule of law in the work of letters and visits. On the morning of May 16, the Jizhou District Letters and Visits Office held on-site publicity activities in Gulou Square in conjunction with the Political and Legal Committee of the District Party Committee, the Social Work Department of the District Party Committee, the Jizhou Branch of the Public Security Bureau, the Court, the Justice Bureau, the Veterans Affairs Bureau, Wenchang Street, Yuyang Town and other units.
At the event site, the staff interpreted the new provisions and new requirements of the "Regulations" for the masses by hanging banners, distributing publicity leaflets, answering questions and doubts on the spot, etc., and gave detailed answers to the questions and visits that the masses were concerned about. In this activity, a total of more than 100 copies of the "Regulations" were distributed to the masses, more than 500 copies of publicity leaflets, and more than 80 people were consulted by the masses. The masses said one after another that through this propaganda activity, they had a better understanding of the knowledge of letters and visits.
At the same time, all towns (streets) in Jizhou District have actively carried out publicity activities on the theme of the second anniversary of the implementation of the "Regulations", comprehensively promoted the "Regulations" into villages, communities, schools, enterprises, and organs, popularized the knowledge of the rule of law in the work of letters and visits in an all-round way throughout the region, strengthened the people's concept of the rule of law, and improved the people's understanding of letters and visits in accordance with the law.
In the next step, Jizhou District will further increase the publicity of the "Regulations", effectively guide the masses to petition in accordance with the law, orderly and civilized, and promote social harmony and stability in our district.
