Launched in February, the 500 W (0.5 kW) eLite is designed to be the most compact and lightweight electric outboard in its class. As a readily available alternative to low-power fossil fuel engines on boats such as lifeboats. The eLite can travel for 4 minutes at a top speed of 40 knots and have a range of more than 3 miles, or nearly 3 and a half hours at a cruising speed of 2.4 knots with a maximum range of more than 9 miles. Sport mode adds an additional 50% short-term power to a top speed of nearly 5 knots.

Mercury Mari's recent foray into the electric outboard market began with the Avator 7.5e, but as promised, the more powerful Avator 20e and 35e have now joined the lineup. At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January of this year, the 20e and 35e of the Mercury Anator electric outboard series were introduced, with power ratings of 2.2 kW and 3.7 kW, respectively.
Mercury claims that the power of the new electric outboard is comparable to that of 5- and 9.9-horsepower four-stroke gasoline outboard motors, and it targets small aluminum fishing boats, dinghies, inflatable boats, and even pontoon boats. Like the 7.5e, the 20e and 35e share the same sleek form factor, simple tool-less battery connection, and lightweight portability. The new model also offers the possibility to significantly extend the range by pairing up to four 2300 Wh battery packs.
In contrast to the 7.5e's convenient replaceable built-in battery design, the 20e and 35e feature a more powerful 2300 Wh external lithium-ion battery, and the IP67-rated (dust/waterproof) high-performance battery, developed in collaboration with Navico Group's Mastervolt brand, features a tool-less twist-lock power connection that makes installation and removal easy.
The battery status button shows the current charging status through four LED indicators. While the 20e can run on one battery, the 35e requires two batteries, tightly connected by Mercury's elaborate power center hub, to achieve full power. The power center can handle up to four batteries in parallel, opening up more possibilities for users looking for extreme range.

According to Mercury's official claim, the Avator 35e has a staggering 60% lower noise level than a traditional 6-horsepower outboard, bringing users a quieter and more comfortable driving experience.
