On the same occasion, Ai Tiecheng, president of Ledao Automobile, said that since the brand was released yesterday, the number of orders for Ledao's first car has "far exceeded expectations". However, he did not disclose specific orders and internal sales targets.

On May 15, NIO's new brand "ONVO Ledao Automobile" was officially released in Shanghai, and the first product, Ledao L60, was unveiled and opened for pre-order, with a pre-sale price starting at 219,900 yuan, and will be launched in September this year.

NIO said that since its establishment in 2014, the company has been brewing a multi-brand strategy, and now the NIO brand has established a brand development strategy that focuses on the business executive car market, taking into account the family and personal car market, and has established the image of a high-end pure electric vehicle brand. At the beginning of 2021, the company began to formally form a team to build the ONVO brand and focus on the family car market.

Li Bin said yesterday that combined with the accumulation of Weilai in the past 10 years, the launch of the Ledao brand is a matter of course, relying on the systematic advantages of 12 full-stack technology layouts built by Weilai's cumulative R&D investment of more than 43 billion yuan, Ledao has systematic advantages in business sectors including technology research and development, supply chain, intelligent manufacturing, quality, charging and swapping network, sales and after-sales service.

According to NIO's plan, in terms of energy replenishment, Ledao will support NIO's third-generation battery swap stations and fourth-generation battery swap stations, and will have 1,000 battery swap stations at birth; In terms of channels, Ledao's delivery will be fully connected to the service network resources of the NIO brand, and the after-sales service will be shared with NIO, with 333 service centers as of May; In terms of production, it will be at NIO's second advanced manufacturing base in Hefei, which is also the production plant for NIO ET5 and other models.
