Oil prices fell by the most significant amount this year.
From 0:00 today (16th), domestic refined oil prices ushered in the third downward adjustment, and gasoline and diesel prices decreased by 235 yuan and 225 yuan per ton respectively. Specific to Beijing, oil prices fell by up to 2 cents. The price of No. 92 gasoline is 8 yuan per liter, down 0.19 yuan, the price of No. 95 gasoline is 8.52 yuan per liter, down 0.2 yuan, and the price of No. 0 diesel is 7.72 yuan per liter, down 0.19 yuan. According to the estimation of the 50-liter capacity of the fuel tank of the average family car, car owners in Beijing will spend 9.5 yuan less to fill up a tank of 92 gasoline.
After this round of price adjustment, the domestic retail price of refined oil ushered in the third reduction in the year. Since the beginning of this year, oil prices have opened 10 rounds of adjustment windows, of which 5 rounds have been raised, 3 rounds have been lowered, and 2 rounds have been stranded. After offsetting each other, the cumulative increase in No. 92 gasoline was 570 yuan per ton, equivalent to 0.45 yuan per liter, and the cumulative increase in No. 0 diesel was 550 yuan per ton, equivalent to 0.47 yuan per liter. After the implementation of this round of price adjustment, the mainstream terminal retail price of domestic No. 92 gasoline increased at around 8 yuan per liter, and the retail price of gasoline was still slightly higher than that of the same period last year. Looking ahead, the agency believes that the relevant oil-producing countries have a firm stance on reducing production, geopolitical instability still exists, and the pressure on the demand side has weakened. However, under the background of good fundamentals, crude oil prices are still supported, and it is expected that the next round of refined oil price adjustment is more probable.
