What comes to mind when you think of mines? The machines roared, the gravel was everywhere, the dust was flying, and the mountains were devastated...... However, in the early summer of May, when I walked into the mining area of Shaanxi Zhenao Dingsheng Mining Co., Ltd., it was full of verdant and fragrant birds...... Such natural beauty has long been the norm. As early as 2019, the mine area has been successfully created as a national green mine.
Green mines are not simply greening, but in the whole process of mineral resources development, comprehensive utilization of resources, energy conservation and emission reduction, protection of the ecological environment, and harmony of mining land. In recent years, Fengxian County has adhered to the concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", adhered to ecological priority and green development, and made the development of mining enterprises have both "face" and "lining". To have "face" is to reach the mining area, just like entering the garden and entering the scenic spot. To this end, Feng County has invested 207 million yuan in governance funds, with a treatment area of 283.38 hectares and a governance rate of more than 96%. There is a "lining" is to scientific mining methods to save energy and reduce emissions, and improve the input-output ratio. Fengxian County has invested a total of 6.85 billion yuan to upgrade and transform mining technology, and has successively implemented 50 key technological transformation projects such as automatic production system and mining and dressing process update of mining enterprises, and the mechanization rate of mining enterprises in the county has reached 80%.
According to reports, up to now, Fengxian County has built 4 national green mines and 6 provincial green mines. Through the construction of green mines, Fengxian County is putting on "green clothes" again for the mining area. If the management of mining areas is the initial stage of green mine construction, then the comprehensive smart energy project of Miaogou tailings pond in Fengxian County is to use "light" to generate gold and open the "2.0 era" of green mine construction.
Walking into the Miaogou tailings pond in Liufengguan Town, the former tailings pond has now changed its appearance, not only green grass, but also blue photovoltaic panels row upon row, shining. These photovoltaic panels will soon convert solar energy into green electricity, which will be delivered to thousands of households through the grid system. According to Liu Guoqing, manager of the planning and development department of Shaanxi Yellow River Energy Company of the State Power Investment Corporation, "the comprehensive smart energy project of Miaogou tailings pond in Fengxian County is located here because the area is relatively large, which can realize the continuous construction of photovoltaic power generation, and can also turn the closed tailings pond into treasure and reuse." ”
Previously, it was an idle tailings pond full of waste sludge and sand. Today, 10,290 photovoltaic panels have been laid on the site of nearly 98 acres, making it the first project in Baoji City to use idle tailings ponds to build photovoltaic power generation. After the project is put into operation in mid-June, it is expected to generate more than 5.7 million kWh of electricity annually, reduce emissions by 3,198 tons per year, save 1,726 tons of standard coal, not only realize self-sufficiency in electricity consumption and emission reduction in mine production, but also export nearly 2.3 million kWh of green electricity to the national grid. From the waste residue everywhere to the new green ecological model of "photovoltaic power generation on the board, ecological restoration under the board, three-dimensional land utilization, and green electricity to help mining", Fengxian County has made the tailings pond sing a green and low-carbon song, and has embarked on a new path of tailings pond withdrawal and utilization.
With the Miaogou tailings pond comprehensive smart energy project as a pilot demonstration, Fengxian County will continue to explore more new models of ecological utilization, promote the mining industry from "black" to "green", and the mining layout from "underground" to "aboveground", and strive to add new momentum to the county's economic transformation and upgrading and high-quality sustainable development.
