Longshan County held the first New Era Civilization Practice Volunteer Service Project Competition

On the morning of May 15, the first New Era Civilization Practice Volunteer Service Project Competition in Longshan County was held in the county conference center. 10 outstanding projects competed on the same stage, competed wonderfully, conveyed the positive energy of "volunteer red", and showed the volunteer service style of Longshan civilization in the new era.
Zhang Heshun, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department of the Xiangxi Prefecture Party Committee, Su Mingchao, Level 4 Researcher of the Propaganda Department of the Xiangxi Prefecture Party Committee and Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the State Propaganda System, Liang Xinghua, Member of the Standing Committee of the Longshan County Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department of the County Party Committee, Tang Xiaoping, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, and Zhang Lanying, Vice Chairman of the County Political Consultative Conference, attended the project competition. Before this competition, the county conducted a preliminary review and selected 10 outstanding projects from 32 declared projects to participate in the finals. At the finals, 10 volunteer service project leaders competed in turn. Through the combination of PPT display, video demonstration and on-site commentary, everyone vividly demonstrated the characteristics and style of the project. A wonderful competition, a piece of true storytelling, a heart-warming service, won the applause of the audience.
These 10 projects cover different aspects such as theoretical and policy publicity, cultural and artistic services, changing customs, medical science popularization, helping the weak and the poor, rural revitalization, etc., focusing on the effectiveness of volunteer service in the new era of civilization practice in Longshan County in recent years and the responsibility of the majority of volunteers.
After fierce competition, 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 4 winning prizes were finally selected. The "Red Trumpet" Theory Propaganda Volunteer Service Project of the Cultural Tourism Volunteer Service Team of the Memorial Hall of the Hunan-Hubei-Sichuan-Guizhou Revolutionary Base won the first prize; The "Colorful Sunshine" volunteer service project of the New Era Civilization Practice Station of Guandu Community of Huatang Street and the "Taoyuan Dream" volunteer service project of the New Era Civilization Practice Station of Taoyuan Village, Shipai Town won the second prize; The rest won the third prize and the winning prize respectively.
Zhang Heshun expressed warm congratulations on the success of the competition and fully affirmed the wonderful speeches of the participants. He pointed out that the construction of a civilization practice center in the new era is a political responsibility and a glorious mission.
