Minqin, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest inland of the mainland. Started in the pre-Qin period, grew up in the Tang and Song dynasties, and flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Minqin is surrounded by the third and fourth largest deserts in the country, Badain Jarin and Tengger Desert, the average annual rainfall is only about 110 mm, but the annual evaporation is as high as 2460 mm, it is one of the four major sandstorm sources in the mainland, the desertification is so fast and serious, it is rated as the world's eight major human forbidden places, and the cruelty of nature is infinitely magnified here.
Since 2015, Greentown has joined the green relay of "Save Minqin" and planted a "spring breeze" from the south of the Yangtze River in the Tengger Desert.
