Quan Xin from Fujian Province reached the semi-finals of the men's single kayak event at the Tokyo Olympics, finishing 17th. Huang Juan, 21, from Guizhou, won the slalom women's single canoe title at last year's Asian Games in Hangzhou, and then won the Asian Canoe Slalom Championships, securing an Olympic qualification for China. Quan Xin and Huang Juan will compete in the 2024 Canoe Slalom World Cup in Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland from May 26 to June 18, which will help them understand their opponents, stay in shape and adapt before the competition.
