In 1956, Ding Zemin, the eighth generation of Ding's hemorrhoids, donated the secret recipes, medicines, instruments and medical techniques of Ding's ancestral traditional Chinese medicine accumulated by the family for a hundred years to Nanjing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine to establish the anorectal department. Ding's hemorrhoids uses the holistic view of TCM syndrome differentiation and disease differentiation, adopts a multi-specialty integration model, and uses Ding's hemorrhoids series of characteristic techniques to treat anorectal diseases.
