We probably all know the term "year of the sixtieth year", that is, sixty years old, what is the reason for this? Because this is the ancient Chinese Ganzhi chronology, Ganzhi is the general name of the heavenly stem and the earthly branch. The order of the stem and branch is matched, and exactly sixty is a cycle, which is called "sixty jiazi" and "sixty sixtieth jiazi". Cycle after cycle, cycle record, this is the "Ganzhi Chronicle".
For example, this year is the year of Jiachen. In mainland China, the Gregorian month and day were adopted from the year after the Xinhai Revolution (1912), but at the same time, the Republic of China year was adopted. Later, on September 27, 1949, the first plenary session of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference unanimously approved the adoption of the Common Era by the People's Republic of China.

Our sixty Huajia is based on the stem branches, such as Jiazi, Yichou, Bingyin, Dingmao, ......, so that the heavenly stem and the earth are dominated, and they can represent the solar system, a celestial body, and the earth to produce all kinds of changes; Among them, the meteorological changes are the largest, but also the most significant, and easy to see.
The changes of all things are different, so they use the stem branch to cooperate, and it is the yang of the heavenly stem with the yang of the earthly branch, the yin of the heavenly stem with the yin of the earthly branch, the yang with the yang, the yin with the yin, according to the order of taking turns to match, completely cooperate with each other, just full of sixty matching, into a cycle, and start from the jiazi, so it is called sixty flowers.
This kind of cooperation of sixty sixties is not very useful to people now, but is it good or not? As you can see in the future, it's very good. It records the movement of celestial bodies, a major turn in sixty years, regardless of the precession (that is, the so-called degree in astronomy, that is, the ancient saying that the sun and the earth go one degree a day, and the three hundred and sixty-five degrees and a quarter of a year is completed; Taking 360 days as a year, there is still a surplus, and the remaining degrees are accumulated into leap months, which is the calculation of the lunar calendar. The Gregorian calendar, on the other hand, has seven months of the year and is thirty-one days, because the method is different, and the numbers are the same. ）
But after 60 years of calculation, the number of the universe for hundreds of millions of years is not different, which is a great law. Looking at the history of China, each dynasty has changed, the emperor has changed, and the era name has changed, but the age of the sixty sixties is fixed, and it will inevitably change every sixty years.
If this law is expanded, it will be more useful. For example, Tang Yao's accession to the throne, that is, the day he became the emperor, was the year of Jiachen, and later Shao Kangjie's algorithm and general algorithm were based on this cadre branch, which is relatively recorded in history.
When Yao was in place, there was the phenomenon of five stars connecting beads, that is, the five stars of gold, wood, fire, water, and earth, were arranged in a row in the sky, and there were certain celestial phenomena, which were presented at that time, and the first sixty years were set as Shangyuan, called Shangyuan Jiazi, the second sixty years were Zhongyuan Jiazi, and the third sixty years were Xiayuan Jiazi, a total of one hundred and eighty years; Then it was expanded, and the first 180 years were the upper yuan, the second 180 years were the middle yuan, and the third 180 years were the lower yuan.
With this law of Jiazi, and the "Book of Changes" and other evolution, we will know how many historical, social, and human phenomena have changed and how they have changed; Combined with Chinese astronomy, calculating what characters should come out, this is a very wonderful law discovered by the Chinese, which can also be said to be the "unity of heaven and man" in Confucian Confucius and Mencius.
Judging from the principle of the Book of Changes, this is bound to change, and the things in the universe will inevitably change at some point. As for what phenomenon it becomes? If you understand this great law, you can know what phenomenon it will become from the hexagram. But most of the people who knew about it didn't say it, because they were afraid of revealing the secret of heaven.
The ancients said that "those who see the fish are ominous", the eyes are too powerful, and there are several fish in the water that can be seen clearly, which is not auspicious, even if such a person is not short-lived, he will suffer from cataracts, because of excessive eyesight; Wisdom cannot be overused, so knowing in advance is not auspicious. Really highly cultivated, knowing everything in advance, becoming ignorant, having supreme wisdom and becoming confused, this is something that a few people with cultivation can do, but ordinary people can't do it.
