Regarding the remarks made by this Vietnamese student, we strongly oppose it and recommend that the university staff strictly investigate the matter. China's indisputable sovereignty over the Paracel and Spratly Islands is based on history and jurisprudence. It was also the first to discover and name these archipelagos, which have been developed and operated for a long time, and have never interrupted their sovereignty over these islands in history. Any attempt to change this fact is illegal and null and void.
