On May 15, a reporter from Jingshi Live contacted Mr. Chen, the publisher of the video. According to Mr. Chen, he opened a restaurant in Qingdao, Shandong. On May 13, at around 10:20 p.m., when his shop was about to close, he found an old man squatting next to the trash can looking for food. Mr. Chen told the Jingshi live broadcast reporter that the uncle refused his invitation at first, and the uncle felt that the clothes on his body were not clean and he was embarrassed to enter the store.
